Finals were against one of our best control players and since I was familiar with their deck, I was able to play around it. While they tried to get their board online, I was able to fully rush Mallow -> Grimsley's Move -> Tyranitar on turn 2. Item lock into swinging on turn 3 lead to an easy win.

Third match was against one of our best players, but they were playing psychic so I had type advantage. I rushed out Guzzlord with Beast Ring and with double damage and 2 prizes it was able to secure a win.

Second match was definitely the hardest of the night, it was a "rainbow colorless" with Kecleon to swing for double damage at any moment. My Grimsley's was prized (again), so I couldn't cheat out my heavy hitters, but relied on stalling till the very end and swung back with G. Moltres for 4 prizes.

First match was against a fairly new player, so I was able to test out using Pecharunt as an early punt to deal some damage and then use its ability to swing from behind EXTRA hard. I don't think its meta defining by any means, but it can sneak up on people if played early.

Its kinda wild to me to think that we're finally seeing another starter evolution in Pokémon reach the popularity thresholds of Charizard. It doesn't hurt that Greninja is an objectively cool and creative design: using the tongue as a ninja scarf in the wind is peak design.

My gamble paid off in Pokémon GO, as I used a Master Ball on a shiny, shadow Ho-Oh and it managed to have the background! (Just ignore the bad IVs...) A wonderful catch for Pokemon's only Johto celebration for the next several years.

By this time you should already have Bibarel up as well, helping you cycle through cards like all turbo colorless deck works. Bibarel also helps for final kills, if needed, with a sneaky Skwovet evolution into Greedent to do some final burnout KOs.

The deck is meant to either win in the first handful of turns, or just burnout as it doesn't really scale well with damage late game. Get Kangaskhan on board to help counter kill if/when Braviary dies, then rebuild with Larry's Staraptor during that brief pause.

Other tools can help get Oranguru on board, which then starts the first colorless cycle for draw. Getting the above combination with Larry's Rufflet gives you an incredibly high chance to get Larry's Braviary on your next turn with the needed 3 energy to start swinging for 120.

Definitely one of the most BRR decks I've built. You WANT to go first and the build has, AT WORST, roughtly a 61% of getting Fan Rotom on turn one (so long as its not prized). With that you get Skwovet, Larry's Komala, and preferably Larry's Rufflet (unless its prized then shift to Larry's Starly).
