The second chance she always dreamed of is only a reality away.

Theo's best friend and her first crush, Summer, died tragically when they were teenagers. Ten years later, Theo has a new job and is returning home. The scars of that tragedy run deep, but she's determined to face her past and move on.

Until a wish on a comet catapults Theo into an alternate reality where she and Summer never became friends… and Summer never died.

Summer falls in love easily, even though it's rarely returned. As a dropout, former bully, and gas station clerk, she knows she's not really a catch. When Theo shows up on Summer's doorstep, she offers the bed in her tiny apartment while Theo tries to find a way home. It's a small sacrifice, but then Theo looks at her as if she's the most important woman in the world, and Summer wishes she could give her so much more.

As they grow closer, Theo discovers there's a time limit on this miracle, and she has to make a choice. Can she really abandon her family and friends to stay with Summer?

Or will she have to say goodbye to Summer for the second time?

goofanader.itch.io/shuukura-dre... It's finally done! Working together with @goofanader.bsky.social as the artist, our entry for the #shuukura game jam. Please enjoy this visual novel about the (worse) lives Miyagi and Sendai would have lived without each other.
Screenshot of a visual novel. The background is a pixelated photograph of a bed. The UI is made up of clouds. On the left, you can see sprites of two characters, Sendai and Miyagi.

The text is as follows:

"Well, Shiori? What did you think?"

I paused the movie as the credits rolled on and shut the laptop lid. The two of us cuddled together on my bed, limbs lazily draped over each other for easy contact

Shiori grunted softly, and gave a small shrug of her shoulder. "It was fine."Screenshot of a visual novel. The background is a pixelated photograph of a cafe. The UI is made up of clouds. On the left, you can see sprites of two characters, Miyagi and an unknown girl with light brown hair.

The text is as follows:

A girl sat at one of the booths, gazing out the window, her expression a little sad. Sunlight shone through her auburn hair.

And she was the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen in my life.

For a moment, I forgot what I was doing, and why I was here.

The text is as follows:

"Minako-chan! I'm gone for three minutes and I see you've already made a new friend. Guess I really do have to be careful about you, or you might get gobbled up."

A voice came from behind me, and I turned to see a woman standing there, with a short, boyish haircut, and sharp eyes that seemed to cut me to the bone. But they barely spared me a second glance as she walked past the table and put her hand on Minako's shoulder.

#lesficfri "feet" As someone with extremities that also get ice cold easily, there's something delightful about tormenting your partner with them.
“I…” Vil stared at her hand, swallowed, then grasped it with her own. “Okay.”

Abi yelped at Vil’s touch. “How are your hands so cold!”

Vil laughed cruelly, then kicked out, her feet daggers of ice that connected with Abi’s shins.

“Hey! Stop it! If you don’t I’ll have to—” Abi growled, then caught both of Vil’s hands in hers, and wrapped her legs around Vil’s feet, pinning them. It was cold, but she endured it. “Now sit there and warm up.”

“I, uh, you—” Vil stammered, then fell silent, her eyes wide and locked onto Abi’s. “You’re warm.”

“You gotta be, to be a blaze pilot.” Abi winked, and giggled at her own joke. She felt it though. Vil’s cold limbs melting under her warmth. And an even greater heat, building up inside of her. She wanted to lean down and—

Abi pulled back, rolling away from Vil. Iz was who she cared for. And Vil had encouraged her even. She’d finally be honest about her feelings. Vil was nice and all, and pretty cute, but all of Nevi’s teasing must have planted weird thoughts in her brain.

Vil scooted towards the edge of the bed. “I’m sorry,” she mumbled.

Damn I did not expect to be called out this hard.
Visual novel players may enjoy Misericorde (gay nun murder mystery), Ladykiller in a Bind (gay and stupid butch simulator), Of The Devil (ace attorney but gay the other way), and of course Umineko no Naku Koro Ni - but if she has read Umineko she will not be able to stop herself from talking about it, and if so you should get her a Beatoriche fumo. I got my own Lambda and Bern from Purupurupikopuyo.

Bluesky, I'd love to see your swords! This is the sword I forged for my wedding. My in-laws made the sheathe, and the blacksmith teaching the swordsmithing class doing most of the detail work is the only reason it looks so good, but I'm still incredibly proud of it.
A sword and a sheathe resting against a tree in autumn.

The sheathe on the left is made of wood, and wrapped in a teal fabric with gold lacing over top. Black cord wrapped around the sheathe creates a handle to carry it with.

The sword on the right has a wooden handle. It has a curved, black iron cross guard that ends in the shape of a leaf. The blade is sharp, beveled, and acid etched.

As a kid, Theo made up a silly little riddle to find out where the key to her secret base is hidden. But Summer prefers the direct approach. #LesFicFri #sapphic #lesfic #LesbianBooks
Summer grinned. The fort was just ahead. A small, square, stout building made of wood. Grand and impressive. A place to hide away, be yourself. Something that would have been absolutely incredible to have as a child.
“Here we are.” Theo gestured grandly, her voice tinged with nervous excitement. “My home away from home. Secret base, headquarters for all sorts of adventures and shenanigans.”
As she approached, Summer saw that the door had a small padlock attached to it. “It’s locked.”
“Yeah.” Theo clasped her hands behind her back, leaning close to Summer as she inspected it. “Think you can figure out the secret to get inside?”
Summer blinked. “Uh, I guess?” She wasn’t really sure what Theo was trying to get at, but well. She was equipped. She fished her keys out of her pocket, found the lockpicking tool attached to the ring, then slid it into the padlock and jiggled it around until it popped open.
Theo stared blankly. “That’s, uh. Hmm.”
“What? Locks like this are painfully insecure.”
“No, that’s fine, I just…” Theo sighed, then chuckled. “You find that thing useful pretty often?”
Summer shrugged. “I wouldn’t say often. But it’s come in handy every once in awhile. Best part is using it to access the roof on my apartment building. Good place to hang out.”
Theo’s eyes lit up. “Ooh! We should totally do that.” She grinned, then stepped forward and opened the door.
There wasn’t much to it. A small, square room. A beanbag set up in the corner. Stacks of manga and books. An empty cooler. A storage box in the corner. The smell of dust and old wood.

Losers screwing around together during second shift at a gas station. #lesficfri for "tongue"
“Alright, alright, this one’s going to do it, you’d better watch.”
“Uh-huh.” Summer spared a glance for her coworker, Minha, who currently had a rubber band stretched between her fingers, a paper projectile carefully balanced on the makeshift slingshot.
Minha squinted, her aim careful. She released, and the little paper triangle soared through the air, smacked right into the top of a pringles can, which clattered off the shelf onto the floor.
“Yes! I am the champion!” She cheered. She held her hand out for a high five.
Summer slapped it half heartedly, but she couldn’t keep the grin from her face. “You sure are. I’m not picking that back up though.”
Minha stuck her tongue out, then went over to fix her mess. She was all of five nothing, cute as a button, athletic as hell, and dumb as a box of rocks. But she was probably one of Summer’s closest friends, and made working in this dead end job tolerable.

#lesficfri The morning after Theo and Summer share a bed together for the first time. (Platonically!)
A part of Theo wanted to reach over, to brush Summer’s hair out of her face, to pepper her with soft kisses, to wake her up by murmuring sweet nothings into her ear.
Their relationship wasn’t there. Not yet, anyway. But Theo wanted it to be. She could admit that much.
Instead, Theo quietly climbed out of bed. She got dressed, crept out into the kitchen and closed the doo behind her. Summer deserved to sleep in.

6/??? Buying A Classmate For 5000 Yen A Week - Haneda Usa Obsessed with this one. Mostly for the webnovel rather than the manga. 387+ chapters of idiots in denial playing gay chicken with each other and mostly failing spectacularly. I even ended up writing a fanfic for it.

Hana Monogatari - schwinn Named after the famous novel, this manga is pretty straightforward and simple, but it wins a lot of points for being an incredibly rare niche. OLD WOMAN YURI

3/??? Our Love Is Disgusting - Usui Shio Love it when the yuri is kind of toxic and fucked up. Girl with a fetish for making dolls resembling her ex meets girl with a doll licking fetish, who commissions the perfect doll, using her own body as a blueprint. Plenty of obsession and compelling angst.

Made some artwork to celebrate reaching 300 downloads. Even if half of them were because of people archiving due to itchio bullshit, I appreciate it all the same! I hope to share many more stories and art in the future.
Lineart of two women, one in blue, one in red, over a black blackground. The blue woman, Kayla is kneeling on the ground, hands tied behind her back, wearing a bra and boyshorts. She has long hair. She's looking up at the red woman. Emily. Emily is standing to the right and slightly behind the Kayla, wearing a tanktop with most of the sides cut out, and cargo pants. She has a side shave, and is reaching for the Kayla, with her thumb hooked into the Kayla's mouth On the right side of the image there is text in red and blue that says "THANKS FOR 300 DOWNLOADS! Cyberbulli"

#lesficfri Summer has fucked up a lot of friendships in her life, but despite everything, this one might still be salvageable. #wip #writingcommunity #writesky #lesfic #sapphic #queerwriters
Riley turned to stare at Theo, her eyes sad. “Why is it we both always fall for the same, unavailable women?”
Summer laughed, and shook her head. “Even with the university, only ever so many gay girls around. If I stick around too long in this town, I’ll eventually completely age myself out of that dating pool too.”
A beat passed, and then Riley snorted with laughter. “Sorry, sorry! For a moment I just pictured you as the lesbian version of that creepy older guy who shows up at college parties.”
Probably where her future was headed, but Summer grinned anyway. She scrunched up her face, put a rasp into her voice, and said “Heeeey ladies,” in the creepiest way she could manage.
Riley laughed even harder, and elbowed Summer in the side. “Too real!”
Summer grinned, and for a moment, it was just like old times. Riley was her friend again. All was right in the world.
The moment passed. Riley looked away. Silence hung in the air, awkward once more.

Theo discovers exactly what it would take to return to her own reality... and lies about it, because she's not ready to go home. #wip #writingcommunity #writesky #lesfic #sapphic #queerwriters
Theo had lied to Summer.
It was all she could think about, as she sat in the passenger seat of Summer’s car, staring out the window and watching the town turn into farmland turn into wilderness. That she’d lied, utterly, blatantly, selfishly. Mars and Venus were in alignment? What complete bullshit.
She should just come clean, tell Summer the truth, take her to view the comet, and end this whole farce.
But the simple fact was that she didn’t want to do that. She wasn’t ready to go home.
So she’d lied. She’d put off going back to her own reality until the last day the comet would be visible, in a little under a month.
And now she’d stay with Summer. Leech off of her generosity. Soak in her presence like it was a drug, like she’d fallen off the wagon after a decade of being clean. Drown in her own indulgence.
Selfish. Pathetic. Disgusting. Creepy.
