are young people today aware that there was an active effort 20-25 years ago to stop depicting smoking as cool and glamorous because people got tired of watching their loved ones die of cancer and heart disease from something preventable? seems like classic history repeating itself stuff

didn't think of the idea of them literally just being the same boys, however. though they seem to have been selected for their burning loyalty, too, not just their looks, so it seems like a pretty unlikely scenario

i. also immediately upon seeing all of the young boys thought, what an unfortunate call-back to another character's collection of pretty, subservient blonds (though thankfully adults) kept around for their looks. pleasant!

i haven't watched it in forever, but i can still remember the soundtrack by heart. they didn't have to go so hard with the music, but i'm so so glad that they did

i know nothing about how this game works, but i'm happy to see that they got assigned their likeliest roles in the kitchen

orminormi.bsky.social @orminormi.bsky.social · 16/02/2026

i keep looking at the preview picture like akechi's got a little tear in his eye too, but i may be hallucinating it. very good expressions in any case

110

orminormi.bsky.social @orminormi.bsky.social · 14/02/2026

most importantly, was it delicious

100

orminormi.bsky.social @orminormi.bsky.social · 09/02/2026

ah, my impression was wrong, and you've been drawing comics for a longer time, i remembered that you were new to it. you've certainly developed a skill!

100

orminormi.bsky.social @orminormi.bsky.social · 09/02/2026

you know i didn't even realize that we don't see akechi's face either for the longest time, even though it's held from the viewer until the very end. you're so right, that unwillingness to bend is vital, whatever his thoughts along the way. it's his choice!

100

orminormi.bsky.social @orminormi.bsky.social · 09/02/2026

it's coming for you, and there's nothing you can do to stop it! nothing at all appealing, anyway...

020

orminormi.bsky.social @orminormi.bsky.social · 08/02/2026

wait, i never commented on this? i was just thinking about this piece and stewing over the fact that akechi, also, is there and present at his own memorial

110

orminormi.bsky.social @orminormi.bsky.social · 08/02/2026

i know the focus here is more on joker's desperation, but i also love how you're communicating akechi's stubborness here in everything from his stiff body language to his minimal expressions

110

orminormi.bsky.social @orminormi.bsky.social · 08/02/2026

and i'm surprised that you apparently don't have that much experience in making comics(?)! every one i've seen from you is of professional quality.

100

orminormi.bsky.social @orminormi.bsky.social · 04/02/2026

the build-up to showing joker's face in pages 1-2 here is really good, keeping him out of focus like that!! and how him wiping his face is such a small follow-up panel, i really do think that you have a very strong instinctive grasp of effective paneling

120

orminormi.bsky.social @orminormi.bsky.social · 19/01/2026

it's unfortunate when kinks get mixed together so thoroughly it's almost impossible to find one without the other. like, do i think this fictional couple would enjoy s/m play? yes, very much. but i don't think they'd get anything out of d/s actually

000

orminormi.bsky.social @orminormi.bsky.social · 16/01/2026

and the lack of detail on the background characters, just the impressions. very nice

110

orminormi.bsky.social @orminormi.bsky.social · 16/01/2026

i love love love the texture you've got with the plastic wrapping of the candied apples
