There's one in my neighbourhood that fascinated my son when he was small. Such a delightful thing to do. Perfect for small children to discover.

I remember reading about this last year and remembered that it was shut down for a review. Just went to the Danish research website www.bandim.org/hepatitis-b-...

Addressing Common Misunderstandings
Several misconceptions about the trial have circulated on social media. The researchers would like to clarify the following points:
• No vaccines are being withheld. No newborn in Guinea-Bissau will receive fewer vaccines because of this study. All participants receive BCG and OPV, which are the standard vaccines given at birth. All children are provided hepatitis B vaccine at 6, 10 and 14 weeks of age as a part of the current vaccination program. Half of the participants receive an additional hepatitis B vaccine dose at birth that they would not otherwise have received.
• Vaccination coverage will increase. Trial vaccination teams will operate every day of the year, including weekends and holidays.
This is expected to increase timely vaccination coverage compared with routine services.

“I am sitting on the back of a man,” reads the text on the statue’s plinth. “He is sinking under my burden. I will do anything to help him. Except step down from his back.” Trump holds a golf club and the scales of justice. A+trolling.

Name an album you can listen to on repeat that doesn't get old. So many to choose from, but I've been thinking about this one lately.

I love Norman Lindsay's etchings and illustrations. I'm the proud owner of one of his etchings

An etching by Norman Lindsay. A naked woman wearing an elaborate headdress is surrounded by a small dog, a monkey and a strange small clown like figure. She holds a small urn and appears to be offering the dog a treat. The date is hard to decipher, but looks like 1925.

My timeline delivers 😆😆😂😂🤣

Two posts in my time line commenting on Englands loss at the same time. One from Kevin Kruse saying "Holy shit", and the other is Nigella Lawson saying "Right then".

A recap of yesterday in Ankara. 🙄 Just in case anyone thought it was just a bad dream.

So far this morning Trump has...
Declared the ceasefire over
Threatened to commit war crimes against Iran
Suspended trade with Spain
Accused "the Islamic state of Japan" of launching 111 missiles
Referred to Zelensky as President Putin
Said he's number one on "Tic Tac"
Claimed prices are down on everything
Suggested the US should have carpet bombed Khomeini funeral
Mentioned taking Kharg Island
Removed Syria from state sponsors of terrorism list
Praised Russia, China and Türkiye while disparaging NATO

Really enjoyed the article. Here are "my" crows. I haven't named them. They took over the territory that my first crows held for many years. They wasted no time making themselves at home in the yard and happily accepted my peanut offerings without hesitation.

So shiny! Did you get some good bee shots? My crow friend seems content to just sit and just chat sometimes. The jays are not as patient. They do not have time for small talk.

I was so taken by the image that I searched to see if it was still open and found out it's closed. 😕 Fabulous mid century modern design! Would have liked to have had lunch there.

I have way too many shots of blossoms and blue sky on my phone. Every year, without fail, I run around snapping the same photos, like it's the first time I've seen blossoms. I do the same thing when the peonies bloom. Exhibit A 🤪

An entire photo screen with nothing but pictures of pink peonies.

@mjmimages.bsky.social The lilac outside my kitchen window is getting ready to make it's dramatic entrance. I'll keep you posted. The white lilac refuses to come out of it's dressing room. Such a Prima Donna.
