Ken Richards @orkydd.bsky.social · 24/09/2026“If there are any moral cowards who haven’t yet left this hall, please do so now,” Netanyahu said. And yet the indicted war criminal stayed to speak and to justify his and his nation's crimes 000
Ken Richards @orkydd.bsky.social · 23/09/2026Not only the CEOs. You also need to look at the cohort of highly paid executives employed to support these naked emperors. I would expect that their numbers, and salaraies show similar bloat since the end of the Cold War 001
Ken Richards @orkydd.bsky.social · 19/09/2026'Tis an agreement with Trump, so is written in pencil and can be altered by either party at will. 000

Ken Richards @orkydd.bsky.social · 19/08/2026I'm not. Those nations have poor governments. Leave it to their own people to make the changes. Meddling from outside does no good. You should focus on the dangerous direction of your own government, which shoots citizens in the street, denies due process to its enemies and is disrupting the world. 100
Ken Richards @orkydd.bsky.social · 18/08/2026The US is a dangerous and aggressive hegemon It meddles in the affairs of far too many nations. It's current President is a symptom of that problem, in one of its worst manifestations. 070
Ken Richards @orkydd.bsky.social · 18/08/2026The DPRK developed nuclear weopons to deter the US from attacking it in the same way that the US has attacked Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Nicaragua, Grenada, Somalia, Iraq, Syria, Cuba, Venezuela and most recently Iran. 2111
Ken Richards @orkydd.bsky.social · 14/08/2026I guess he just resigns again and causes another by-election, putting the investigation on hold again. 030
Ken Richards @orkydd.bsky.social · 11/08/2026Risky. An awful mistake could have been made. What if roast pig was on the menu. Though of course, probably chicken Tacos 031
Ken Richards @orkydd.bsky.social · 13/07/2026So many more folk to tramp down these days, ensuring they are truly gone and wil plague us no more. I have a little list... 000
Ken Richards @orkydd.bsky.social · 15/06/2026Trump's only talent seems to be making things worse than before he meddled in them. And then lying about it. 000
Ken Richards @orkydd.bsky.social · 15/06/2026The problem with AUKUS is that it is intended to supply submarines suited for US hegemonic strategies, rather than defence of Australia. Why should we pay to encircle our biggest trading partner with submarines. 000
Ken Richards @orkydd.bsky.social · 15/06/2026The '1 Trillion' is not actually wealth. It is a bubble. 100
Ken Richards @orkydd.bsky.social · 13/06/2026The world can't afford billionaires. It can afford racist trillionaires even less. On the bright side, asset-stripping Musk to an income more worthy of his 'talent' would eliminate the equivalent of 1000 billionaires. Win-win! 030
Ken Richards @orkydd.bsky.social · 06/06/2026I can't be the only one who prefers to use a myki card. Do I really want the ticketing system to have access to my banking details? 000

Ken Richards @orkydd.bsky.social · 30/05/2026Well worth waiting a year then Monica. Plenty of food for thought in there. Thanks! 110
Ken Richards @orkydd.bsky.social · 24/05/2026Yep, owners risk only money (often borrowed) and their labour (while taking a salary from that borrowed capital). And are protected from any debts they incur by limited liability provisions in company structures. 010
Ken Richards @orkydd.bsky.social · 24/05/2026Come on, Trump can't do anything right. Why would you expect him to successfully assasinate himself 000
Ken Richards @orkydd.bsky.social · 14/05/2026Massive amounts of tanks, planes, bombs and bullets do not on their own win wars. For that you need motivated people. Otherwise, the US would have prevailed in Vietnam, the Soviets in Afghanistan, Russia in Ukraine and need I say it, the US/Israel in Iran/Lebanon/Gaza.So you are correct. 000
Ken Richards @orkydd.bsky.social · 13/05/2026I respectfully disagree. I'm with Eisehower, who actually fought and won wars and knew them and the harmworkers too well. "every weapon produced is a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed" 260

Ken Richards @orkydd.bsky.social · 06/02/2026The idea is the only thing it has going for it though. The writing is very average. Notable for the lack of women with agency also. 010

Ken Richards @orkydd.bsky.social · 04/11/2025Some day I guess, the minions responsible for this extrajudicial murder spree will find themselves in Den Haag, facing war crimes charges like ex-President Duarte of the Philipines, on whose exploits these actions seem to be based. 100

Ken Richards @orkydd.bsky.social · 23/06/2025Thanks for the reflections Monica. We also enjoyed our 3 weeks in Iran back in 2011 and found the people wonderfully helpful, friendly and curious. Ken Richards @orkydd.bsky.social · 09/06/2025Plenty of good Chinese, Korean, Malay restaurants in UB. On our visit we tried to steer clear of Mongolian food (except for the Khuushuur which were OK. Ken Richards @orkydd.bsky.social · 06/11/2024I guess you feel like I did last October when our country's voters rejected an Indigenous Voice to Parliament in a referendum. Ken Richards @orkydd.bsky.social · 10/10/2024Whenever we supplied catnip to our cats it had no effect. I was most disappoint. Turns out most cats in Australia lack the relevant gene to elicit the reaction to the herb. 000
