This is my best friend and one of the best people I know. She's so close to finishing school, and barring a single B, has been knocking back nothing but A's. I love her and I'm so fucking proud of her.

Hey y'all, I know I don't post like at all right now, but @d-7th.com is having a desperately bad go of it and could use all the help you can give. If you have it, please consider helping a disabled trans person in Texas. ko-fi.com/d7th/goal?g=2

Hey so this new KOSA/KIDS Act proposal has a little note in it that creates a whole new special Trump-appointed team to regulate the internet. So no more Congress votes. No more checks & balances. Just whoever the president picks to decide the future of YOUR internet. You aren’t mad enough.

The internet does way too good a job at dehumanizing the hypothetical life on the other side of the screen.

This Pride month, remember that straight trans people often have to go through our own intense journey of coming to terms with our identity, and that fundamentally alters the meaning of straight. We are not the same as cishet people, without ID changes most of our marriages are at risk like any SSM.

I'm emotionally ruined. Somebody left a whole ass ROLL of bowling alley style, arcade style PARTY CARPET on the street outside my apartment and I decided to be responsible and not take it. I don't wanna risk bedbugs, and I have no way to properly clean it, so outside it stays. 😭😭😭

I just re-watched TMNT the other night and, aside from the accents on the foot clan (woof) and Casey Jones being kind of terrifying to April, the whole thing holds up so well. One of my absolute all-timers for comfort watching.

Piece of advice from experience: If there is someone you’re a fan of, be they musician, writer, artist, YouTuber, essayist, philosopher, whatever, ask what they could possibly do to lose your support for them. If the answer is “nothing” for ANY reason, reevaluate how you feel about that person.

first, i sit at my drawing tablet thinking “how do i work?”

next, i stand at a party thinking “how do i stand?”

then i lie awake in bed thinking “how do i sleep?”

the i stand in my shower and think “how do i cry?”

Ruth Mercia, my character. Preacher's daughter from Point Pleasant, WV, Ruth feels as alien in the world as she does inside. Timid and desperate to be normal, Ruth carries a hidden vindictive streak that transforms her into the Flatwoods Monster, capable of unspeakable violence. (7/7)

Lackadaisy Ferrick, @oblivias.bsky.social's character. Ray of sunshine with the unfortunate curse of lycanthropy (the terrifying, wolf-man variety). Strong and kind she's had to struggle against her nature and the sins her curse has wrought. Unfortunately, some things refuse to stay buried. (6/7)

Robin Anderson (Peach), @primimpropr.bsky.social's character. A cult leader's daughter, she made a deal with the thing he worshipped and obliterated him from existence. Now a shapeshifter, she plays her role well- both as a shapeshifter in the creature's service, and on her team of friends. (5/7)

Popcorn Thomas (Blue), @lotushomage.bsky.social's character. Famed OnlyFans creator turned werewolf, only to later find she was born a succubus. Clever and charismatic, her life was on track- until her Moth Man boygirl-girlboyfriend fled the scene of a dramatic accident and disappeared. (4/7)

Ashley Cole, (Purple), @hornsketcholdsfw.bsky.social's character. Newest edition to the group, she was partially consumed by an extraplanar entity that now shares her body and mind. Massive appetite, huge heart. Quick to try to talk the group's conflicts out and find a better way forward. (3/7)

Nat "The Bat" Ferguson (Red), @derbyghost.bsky.social's character. Softball fanatic and avid baker with anger and self-esteem issues, she puts on a cocky front. She was transformed into a faun, which loosened her grip on the impulses she kept tightly guarded. (2/7)

I haven't posted art in forever, so I might as well dig through some of the stuff I haven't posted while I've been a total hermit. Here's the current cast of the Monster Hearts campaign I've run with @derbyghost.bsky.social for fucking years at this point. (details below)

Left to right:
A tall girl drawn in orange hues. She wears glasses, has dark hair with lighter bangs, and looks to the side suspiciously as she scribbles in her Scooby Doo and the Ghoul School notebook. Her pet sugar glider sits on her shoulder.

A shorter faun girl drawn in red, she wears a crop top, jean shorts, and holding a blunt in one hand. She sports hooves, a goat's tail, horns and goat ears. She looks cocky.

The shortest girl in the cast drawn in purple, she wears a simple outfit of a t-shirt, capris and crocs, with the edition of dark glasses. Her curly hair falls in her face. She looks anxious, holding her arm protectively. Her right arm is clawed and made of a dark, viscous material.

The third tallest girl drawn in blue, a demon with a pixie cut that stands on her tip toes, beckoning you in. Her heart-tipped tail curls around her legs. She wears a bedazzled pair of overalls, a t-shirt and sandals.

The second tallest girl, and the most formally dressed. A frilly shirt with long, straight hair compliments her dark, understanted slacks. She wears heels and a smile, looking pensively to the side.

The tallest girl in the group, and easily the most muscular, painted in yellows. She wears a crop top and jean shorts with combat boots, her hand held shyly behind her head as she looks away. Her long blonde hair matches her wolf ears and tail.

The third shortest girl drawn in green. She wears a long, flowing dress with tights, as well as a pair glasses and a pair of white mary-janes. She sports bangs and shoulder length white hair. She looks away from the camera, one arm holding the other behind her back.
