Original MrP @originalmrp.bsky.social · 27/08/2026Sympathy for the Devil is my go to, however, the one that sticks, is "Get off of my Cloud". The reason, my father trusted me with the final track to be played at his funeral. It made me smile. 030
Original MrP @originalmrp.bsky.social · 07/07/2026Post 4/4: I've asked Proton to escalate to billing/engineering and honour the paid invoice as issued. Has anyone else experienced prepaid subscription terms being overwritten when adding another Proton service? Would like to hear if this is a known issue. 000
Original MrP @originalmrp.bsky.social · 07/07/2026Post 3/4: Proton's own purchase confirmation email explicitly stated my renewal date aligned with the 24-month extension. Adding a separate service (Lumo) should not void a prepaid term for an unrelated service. That smells like a system bug being passed on to the customer. 100
Original MrP @originalmrp.bsky.social · 07/07/2026Post 2/4: Support's response? Go into "Manage subscription," pay ~$279, and trust the system will credit me for the time I already bought. The proration credit shown doesn't even match what I paid. So I'd be fronting money to restore something I have a paid invoice for. 100
Original MrP @originalmrp.bsky.social · 07/07/2026Post 1/4: Proton accepted my payment for a 24-month Mail Plus extension. Issued a paid invoice with a defined billing period. Then I added Lumo+ as a separate subscription — and Proton's system apparently overwrote my prepaid extension, converting me to a 12-month cycle. 100
Original MrP @originalmrp.bsky.social · 07/07/2026Hey @proton.me do you have a public trust & safety or executive contact channel where escalated billing disputes can be directed? The current back and forth over a billing dispute via email isn't going well. 100
