My goal is rationality. "Faith" is in opposition to that goal at a fundamental level. Rationality is about recognizing the things you don't know and waiting until you have evidence you can be confident in. Faith is about having confidence in stances despite having no evidence to be confident in.

Back when I was a Christian, I would follow this with "how do you love God?" and follow that with "I desire mercy not sacrifice" or the like to reason that the second and first greatest commandments are really the same commandment. These days I just say morality is secondary in Christianity.
