Here's a dragon pic that @skipsy.ca drew nearly 10 years ago on my Apple Newton MessagePad!

Having just got out of the shower, I decided to give Mobi a gun show! Unfortunately due to a towel malfunction, he inadvertently also got to see my cannon! Whoopsie-doodle! Although it appears I didn't mind all that much, but the poor sharkboi sure was shocked! Art by @2oonscap3.bsky.social

Solution achieved! I love having a machine shop in my dining room. 😁 #Audiophile #audio #DIY

LOL, hmm.... Watched the movie Fury on the home theater at a decent volume... Subwoofer decided to walk a few inches out of position. 😅 Gonna have to come up with a different foot solution, the spikes don't have enough friction. I'm sure I can whip something up on the lathe. #Audiophile #audio

You should see the fidget box I made years ago! SO satisfying to play with! 😁 It's also a variable AC power supply!

For well over two solid decades now, new people I meet online have been shortening my name to "Orc" instead of "Orci" and it's like nails on a chalkboard to me! So I finally decided to make this helpful PSA infographic! 😁

Workstation! Here's where I spend most of my waking hours if I'm not out visiting friends/family or in the river valley on my e-scooter.

Amazon recommended me a 55 gallon drum of 31% hydrochloric acid amongst some cereal suggestions once.

Amazon product recommendations for cereal, specifically Special K Red Berries, Special K Blueberry, and Lucky Charms, but the fourth recommended item is a 55 gallon drum of 31% hydrochloric acid, which I circled in red and put "?!" underneath.

Steps 2 through ∞. The first piece of wood was nice to work with. The second, a different species, was not. Reaallllly crappy. Lots of tearout. Fortunately it's mostly hidden. Headphones are Sennheiser HD820 with Dekoni Elite Velour pads, and an Arctic Cables "Define".

Who doesn't like a good VU meter? SPL Phonitor X w/DAC768xs option. (not playing music to avoid copyright strike)

I owned a pair of HD600 headphones for 13 years. If you can get past the lean bass response, they are IMO the absolutely best-sounding headphone for the money. You can often get them for even less than $400. I have the HD820 now, and I'm driving them with an SPL Phonitor X with the DAC768xs option.

Zipping around on my 🛴 this evening, exploring parts unknown, get to a clearing after a long tunnel-like path almost overgrown with trees and I'm met with the unexpected sight of this massive bridge. Had to stop and take photos from both sides.

Pff, today's smoke was absolutely nothing. A bunch of years ago we had REALLY bad wildfire smoke (it looked like we were on Mars... everything was literally red); I had to wear a respirator with P100 filters all day. The attached photo was taken at 12:02pm on May 30, 2019.

Ok ok NOW it's done, after some very minor cosmetic upgrades, and a different heatsink for the extremely-toasty Gen 5 m.2 SSD.

I have an Ikea display case filled with old film camera gear, and a couple of very early digital cameras too. Much of it still works, and I even have a bunch of unused film (and very expired developing chemicals) but I haven't touched any of them in years.
