A few more details around the venue! No alcohol. There was ginger ale and oli pop (lmao the soda Shane's advertising), some framed art in the hallway, and a T-shirt. #orcapartymode

Drink menu offering Canada Dry, Oli Pop, Open Water (still/sparkling), coconut water, yes folk kombucha, de soi, athletic IPA

framed art of a black and white drawing of Shane and Ilya shirtless and only in gym shorts and hockey gloves, holding hockey sticks.

T-shirt that they were selling for $36 that is a black shirt that has font across the front saying "behind every great love story is a dump truck ass"

Closeups of the stage props before the show started! These panels with stuff hanging can swivel so they'd swap out props to set up different scenes. I liked the attention to detail in this opening setup ❤️

hanging from a hook is Shane Hollander's hockey jersey and a hockey skate. On a little shelf above the hook are a neatly folded stack of clothes and a can of ginger ale.

Hanging on the hook is Ilya Rozanov's hockey jersey and a jockstrap. On the little shelf above the hook is a wadded up towel and a white water bottle like the one in the gym scene in the show.

Thinking about Ilya's hands in the show and remembering in A Sign of Affection when Yuki describes Oushi's signing as very pointed but sometimes his fingertips are meek and shows how he cares deep down. I've always noticed Ilya's hands betray him in a similar way. I love observing his body language.

It was a joy to draw the art for @frictionpress.bsky.social's one shot, The Queen's Vestibule, which takes place between the 1st and 2nd volumes of The Mythic Bodies series. This oneshot is available as a free download on Roo's website: frictionpress.com/mythicbodies...

Drawing accompanying prose. Prince Silence brings a handful of sacred water to Rosefinch's lips.

The finch kneels in front of Prince Silence and looks up at him. Prince Silence holds his finch's face in his bejeweled hands. A vine creeps around the finch's ankle from out of frame.

Dripping plant tentacles with bulbed ends stroke and prod and fuck the finch while Prince Silence holds him from behind and watches.

The finch's legs are held open by plant tentacles as he lays back in Prince Silence's lap. He is overstimulated and orgasming as the plant tentacles fuck wetly into both of his holes.

rewatching ep 5 and got sad thinking about Ilya in the moments before he decided to call Shane the first time after returning home. Ilya wants to be strong, he doesn't want to cry. He looks up, trying to hold them back. But when he looks down at his phone, the tears inevitably fall.

Ilya has been drinking. He sits on the floor with his back resting against the seat of his couch and his knees against the coffee table covered in bottles. He looks up, tears welling in his eyes, stubborn for a moment, not wanting to cry. But when he looks down at his phone, the tears inevitably fall. His fingertips gently reach for his phone.

Heated Rivalry fan comic strip:
Text from Lily: I need your address
Shane texts back: No
Shane is smug about successfully rejecting Ilya, "Heh. There!"
Lily: Fine, your loss.
Shane sweats.
Shane texts back: Could we meet somewhere else?
Shane facepalms himself.

Hud & Con's butts have literally helped me be less self-conscious about my butt as a trans man. I for real look at myself differently, more positively, in the mirror after seeing the butts on these men. Body stuff is a sensitive topic so I wasn't sure if I wanted to share but idk, it's cool to me!

Skate the Infinity fanart. Adam is running his tongue along the underside of Tadashi's cock, and he has a snide expression on his face and a smirk.

i like this but i still need to figure out how to simplify this more so it feels less like a portrait. I'm scared to draw Ilya at any other angle... also wanna draw them distinct from the actors but i just had to keep the mole (and of course i still draw inspo from them, not going full rogue)

I'm definitely not trying to make a point about something something ANYWAY I DREW SHANE AND I'M HAPPY WITH IT YAY

drawing of Shane Hollander from Heated Rivalry on the left and Yuuri Katsuki from Yuri on Ice on the right. definitely two distinctly different-looking boys. Shane has thicker more stern brows, more deep set eyes than Yuuri, a taller nose, shorter shaggier hair, and a thicker neck. Yuuri has softer hair eyebrows that are thin in the middle but thicker at the ends, bigger eyes, smaller wider nose, and thinner neck.

I love the entire interview and you should really read all of it but i am going to put this answer from Hudson about sex in TV here cuz it needs to be said again and again. I think Jacob also said in another interview that ppl don't like sex on TV cuz they're seeing bad sex on TV.

HW: I kind of take issue with people writing off sex on TV. I’ll see those comments. I’ll see the people kind of going, “Oh, is there really a need to show this?” And I’ve always had a problem with that, because, of course, there are the times when it’s low-hanging fruit, and people are just using it to sell something and just smack it on there. But since cinema was created, there have been beautiful, usually European filmmakers, a lot of Asian filmmakers, that have a very sex-forward view. Like this show, I also think of Normal People. The sex was a part of driving the story forward. It wasn’t gratuitous. It was real, it was beautiful, sometimes ugly, but always really story-focused. I feel like our show does the same thing.

So I think as long as filmmakers and artists that come on board something all have a clear view of the writing of the action of these scenes, there’s always room for it. I think there’s a lot more road we have to pave, because it’s not like we’ve told every story that involves sex. There’s going to be a lot more. And as long as everyone’s mature enough and smart enough to tell that story properly and make everyone on set feel safe, I think it must still be in shows and movies going forward.

For comparison, on the left I freehanded directly onto the nail which looked much smoother. Decal method on the right was finicky and gave me a lot of bubbles. But it's still a cool method for putting something detailed on my right hand! I don't think I could freehand it with my left.. (Unless...?)

AU where Adam run a sex dungeon livestream and Tadashi, Langa, and Reki are all his puppies. At first Reki was relieved his partner wasn't going to be Adam, but he quickly learns that Tadashi is much scarier :')

Tadashi is fucking Reki while Reki has a furry tail butt plug still inside of him, so he's essentially getting double penetrated. Tadashi stares coldly down at Reki, one gloved hand gripping the tail and the other hand wrapped around the strap extending from Reki's leather ankle cuff. Reki's struggling and trying to protest that it's too much to no avail.
