iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

and everytime i distance myself from one distraction it feels like I'm building up another, doing anything but make my life better, because there is a comfort in failure. It feels good to be nothing, and i really hate that part of myself

but in the end we are all usually running from doing things that we want by doing things that are easy, and I've not been feeling great with the dread of running into a grave of what ifs, its been scaring me actually.

if you watch one good video, you can digest it and process it through the day, but five or ten becomes a blur of feeling accomplished in watching something that "feels" educational, essentially ending up in the same place as doomscrolling but with a pretense of choosing the "healthier" vice

on a sidenote I've never found sites like twitter or bluesky that enticing, never been able to get "hooked" its always been discord and youtube for me. it does make me sad that long form content when consumed in the context of social media becomes slop regardless of quality

you ever stare at a wall with a sense of impending dread as you are expected to do something while you don't know where to go or where to start, so you stay in a loop of dread for multiple years in a row and any prospects of living a good life seem more distant by the day 🐴

having people who are featured in media be shockingly unaware and unknowable (whether intentional or not) has to have some kind of ego inflating effect on anyone average intelligence or above
