iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I have a friend who never really got into gaming before now getting into Trails by watching her roommate play, and all her reactions to the Sky Remakes have been so cute! 😭 It’s taking EVERYTHING in me not to spoil things after hearing her theories about what’s going on 🤭

My first week at my new full time job went well! It was an exhausting first week, but I'm excited to work on this specific project while balancing my gaming content at the same time ☺️

It’s interesting that whenever I share reflections on collecting, I get often get a few “maybe collecting just isn’t for you" replies. Being intentional about a hobby & reflecting on how you engage w/ it is healthy. Changing up how you collect doesn’t mean you enjoy it any less.

We announced this during our live on Monday, but @JRPG_Pursuit now has a website! We'll be updating it regularly with reviews, thought pieces, buying guides, and lots more in the coming weeks. So please keep an eye on it 👀 jrpgpursuit.com

Will be live at 5pm PT tonight catching up about all the September games... and looking over potential new physical Switch 2 games to add to the collection soon.

Yessss... no idea when I’m gonna find the time to replay this masterpiece, but I’ll make it happen 😂

I've been asked this a few times, but nope, I don't regret buying my Switch 2 before the Zelda 40th Anniversary version was announced 😆 The Zelda special edition one looks great but I really like my Xenoblade dock cover, so I'm perfectly happy with mine! Made by @/Kamaniki

Maybe I should have made this clear, I'll only be there for like 2.5 days 🥲 Thursday I'll likely spend a bulk of it at NYCC, Friday I have an offsite appointment for a few hours but the rest I'm hoping to explore a little of the city!

Emily 💫 @orbalology.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

I'll be in NYC for NY Comic Con this year! This will be my first time in the big city, so what are some must-see and must-do things that I can attempt during my short trip (that'll be around the midtown Manhattan area)?

So playing Fortnite with my Dad will be happening at around 10:30am PT today! This is his favorite game so he's much better than me. We'll be testing out the new Persona 30th anniversary collab skins! #SEGACreator #EpicGames #Gifted

It was kinda funny during today’s stream how many unexpected cities came up when we talked about where I could move to. What are some good work-from-home cities w/ relatively low cost of living, good public transportation & overall good QOL? I’m seriously considering relocating!

11190

Emily 💫 @orbalology.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

I know some were concerned by this tweet but I have good news! I'm starting a new full time, fully remote job next week. I was concerned about relocating & the impact on my channel, but any moving will be on my own terms & my content/streams shouldn't be impacted much :)

Here’s the (current) plan for my streaming schedule! 🎮 Once Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is done, I’ll be starting Lies of P on Fridays. After Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter, I’ll focus on Yakuza 0 for Saturday-Sunday streams. I’m really looking forward to all of these games! 😄

2261

Emily 💫 @orbalology.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

It’s finally time… I’m playing my FIRST Castlevania game on stream tonight! Starting with Symphony of the Night feels like the perfect way to enter the series! 🦇🌙

I'm waiting to unbox her on stream, but you better believe she'll join the rest of my Fire Emblem collection soon 😄

Emily 💫 @orbalology.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

I'm also eagerly waiting for my Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter CE. Then I can finally rearrange this section of my Trails collection 😁

1170

Emily 💫 @orbalology.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

I'll probably do some rearranging once I get my hands on those new Lloyd and Elie figures... But happy to add a new CE box to the Trails collection & complete the chibi acrylic Crossbell stands 🥰

Run, don't walk. Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter is live on steam and 10% off!!

1162

Emily 💫 @orbalology.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

The metacritic scores for Sky 2nd Chapter are looking great (as expected)! Though I don't really see the game gaining much recognition outside the niche because of the low numbers of critics who reviewed it. It's a shame 😔

I was SO excited when Level-5 announced their big comeback with Professor Layton, Decapolice, Yo-Kai Watch, and more. But seeing this much blatant genAI being used across their games… yeah, this ain’t it 😬

Finally played the Final Fantasy Resonance demo last night and WOW. I’m SO excited for this release! The HD-2D style is beautiful, the return to classic FF combat feels fantastic & the music is outstanding🎶 This game is absolutely living up to the hype! ✨

The 1st half of the Direct was feeling a little lukewarm with all those ports... but once they showed off Metroid Ravenous, things REALLY started heating up 🔥

Ugh. I hate gaming leaks so much 😭 Now I gotta dodge spoilers like it’s a full-time job.

So many games to be hyped for next year y’all. We are truly living in a gaming renaissance, especially for us RPG fans. AND we still don’t even know everything that’s coming in 2027 yet 🤩

You’d think the more you game, the more locked into your tastes you’d get. But I’ve found the opposite. It seems that the more I play, the more open I am to new experiences, and be able to find new franchises & unique games to love. It’s certainly great to be a gamer 💜🎮

I've beaten a lot of amazing games this year. From new releases to backlog games I've owned for many years. I’ve also started plenty more that I plan to finish... Now I just need to figure out how to balance everything... because I've got maybe a bit too much on my docket 😅

4271

Emily 💫 @orbalology.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

I plan to finish my playthrough of Persona 5 Royal before I start the Trails demo... I'm 90+ hours in so the end is in sight. Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter will be my reward waiting for me at the finish line 🏁
