I'm starting a (mini?) serie: I'm figuring out how a well known character will look like if they live in XIX century. I try to keep rendering simple. Picture No.1: #fern from #frieren I think she would be a governess, checking if Sta... I mean, kids are behaving properly. #fanart #victorianera

I've drawn it for the vgen contest the other day, but it turned out that I am a big dumbo and didn't notice that vgen requires an invitation code, not just ordinary registration, so... yeah. I'm posting it here because I think the lightning looks pretty nice. #lightningstudy #digitalart #tiger

With this piece, I wanted to be a bit more intentional with the composition. As a starting point, I used a simple triangle. Do you think it reads well? #artstudy #digitalart #portrait

Is it legal for a cougar to carry a sword? Or armor? Rachel (one of my OC's) really wanted to try it so I used this opportunity to practice drawing armor and metal. I think the texture turned out pretty fine #originalcharacter #armor #digitalart

Last drawing from MB's study. I focused more on the backstory of her. She guards a village that was recently attacked by some bizarre creatures. Since then, her body changed, twisted into something no longer fully human. Now she has to adapt and learn new ways to fight. #digitalart #characterdesign

With this lady, I focused less on rendering (keeping the shading simple with just basic shadows and ambient light) and more on the pose, I wanted it to feel more dynamic than my usual work, as well as put more thought into the overall character design. #digitalart #characterdesign #artjourney #elf

Another study! This time I followed Marc Brunet style. I feel like this study was less about technique, but more about character design and perspective. But I've learned a lot from this artist during my earlier journeys. #artjourney #stylestudy #digitalart #stylepractice

Another piece from recent style studies. I wanted to give the background a bit more attention than I usually do, because most of the times I focus mostly on the character, so drawing the flower field felt like a nice little step outside of my comfort zone. #digitalart #artjourney #flowers #artstudy

Drawing from my recent style studies. Here I really wanted to focus on the light and how it behaves on the different materials. I also tried drawing the hair a little differently than I usually do, which made this piece feel like a really fun study overall. #digitalart #lightningstudy #artjourney

Lately I’ve been feeling like I need to make some changes in my style and in my art as a whole. I decided to start fresh on new social media and treat this as the beginning of a new artistic journey. As the first thing I did some drawing studies to learn something from artists who inspire me.
