i must not fear The Project

tumblr post by gailynovelry:
"The fastest way to accomplish The Project is to cease being afraid of The Project. The Project cannot maim you. The Project cannot kill you. The Project is more afraid of you than you are of it. It is okay if The Project turns out differently from how it was in your head, and it is okay if it has flaws. You are capable of engaging with The Project."

When you say 'all erotica is bad, no exceptions' you inevitably end up down the rabbit hole of conservatism where LGBT folks, queer culture and anything deemed 'strange' sexually is renounced and eventually banned through legal means.

Thank you for the #artshare! :D My name is Saff, and I'm slowly getting back into drawing after a long dry spell - the process of relearning how to draw has been quite fun and I hope keep up with it! I also have a tip jar if anyone's generous! ko-fi.com/saffrooibos

Help us build a guide for new nsfw digital creatives getting into the pornsphere! ✨ This can't be built by one person, we need you! beginner/pro, artist, writer, gamedev, VO all welcome 5 mins 💖 naughtyniche.org/nsfw-quickst... #nsfwart #nsfw #porn #smut #fic #community #digitalarts #censorship

A snippet of the welcome message of an online survey, titled NSFW Digital Creatives Survey. It reads the following:

Getting started in NSFW is tricky! There's a lot of guides for social media creatives, but they overwhelmingly discuss SFW-only tactics and challenges. These largely don't apply to NSFW, who will have to deal with regular and evolving censorship, different platforms, and payment processor problems.

NSFW creators can only learn from each other, but we lack easily accessible guides and support from communities!
*Note that this survey is directed at digital arts, and not performers or live action NSFW creators. There's again entirely separate rules and challenges to handle that are out of the scope of this survey

Together with your help, the Naughty Niche wants to start creating some public info pages sharing the tips, tricks, and particular challenges that you think are the most important to know, beginner and pro alike.

So I was hesitating making one of these for a ton of reasons, but a big one was that I’d likely have to do an impromptu face reveal. But if you want to help me out, buy a few more weeks in a motel or Airbnb and avoid homelessness, I have a gofundme set up gofund.me/9ac118cc5

I remember ages ago I was so gung ho about trying to get into the animation industry that I felt like I was tailoring what I drew to what I thought people would be impressed by but given the situation right now, Im so glad I dodged a bullet in this sense and now I just draw whatever is enjoyable!
