Mixing the next non-soundtrack, regular OCA album. The snippet is about 12 minutes into the 36 minute song that will begin the album, and which was performed at the NGBG festival a few years ago.

I can't think of anything more Malmö than these Erotic World posters. All over the city. Every autumn. Every year. And the event doesn't even take place in the same country.

Just listened through the next OCA soundtrack for the first time since it was handed in in May. Now, that's two hours the listener will never ever get back. Proper missing time, except for getting probed by a grey alien.

Terrific lecture on the history of the football offside law by The Guardian's Jonathan Wilson.

New LP in the mail by those jangly C86 popsters @prolapseband.bsky.social. Approved by the shadows of myself, a wooden elephant and my inability to take descent cell phone photos.

Proper autumn 1967 Syd Barrett vibes on this new @prolapseband.bsky.social track. Can't wait for the vinyl to arrive.

Lots of noise, slow dub, half-speed jungle, jazz samples and fuzz bass on the next non-soundtrack OCA album... and a terrific vocal by @davidlancecallahan.bsky.social. That and much more, including a lead-off 38 minute song. Might come out late in 2025. Hopefully.

So my local in Malmö has been playing Swirlies all night. It is a very nice evening.

Sitting in a Chania, Crete bar in the afternoon and they play Stereolab's Moogie Wonderland, Moodles, Narco Martenot, The Noise of Carpet....and on and on and on. While I happen to wear a Lab tee... pardon my excitedly terrible cell phone clips

Drinking in a bar in Chania and the owner totally looks like a Greek @derrymick.bsky.social. Probably hasn't heard The Sea Urchins, though.

he next Orange Crate Art documentary soundtrack, as of yet untitled, is now mixed and mastered. Some may even call it finished. Will be delivered to directors Brian Chidester and John Winer very soon and once their film is done, Bob will be your uncle.

Solitary pint with "Cha Cha 2000" by La Dùsseldorf as company. Might favourite part has always been when Klaus Dinger sings "We need better leaders... don't cheat us, don't CHEAT US!". Seems like he wrote it about 2025.
