Been working on a cover I've been wanting to do for ages, should I continue? 🤔

Touched down a few hours ago, wonderful time flying over the alps and all checked in, looking to sample some local goodies tomorrow. Night all!

So, I'm jetting off for a much needed break, hope you don't mind me chronicling my time away for a while, because apparently nothing beats a Jet2 Holiday ✈️✈️

While my bluesky feed is full of nice photos and paintings of landscapes and architecture, I'm missing out on a bunch of vtubers. Come forth and make yourselves known!

Since British Vtubers are reuniting on my feed, I found the combination Wetherspoons Greggs! What's your favourite order from either?

Hey #Vsingers! Hypothetically... If somebody offered you a free cover instrumental in a style/genre of your choice, what would you choose?

I think tonight is just going to be one of those nights where I lock in and compose a song from scratch. Who wants to hear the result later? 🎹

Keeping it simple this year (no img). I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas, and that your family obligations aren't too taxing. Take this moment to relax and be calm. The end of the year is upon us and we get to start fresh, attack our problems with a new vigour soon. Lots of love! - Opus

Went to the Death Stranding | Strands of Harmony concert last night and wow. LMO were on point, the guest singers and Lugvig Forssell were amazing. Sure gave me a brand new vigour and drive to compose a soundtrack of my own one day.

A genuine thank you for your support so far. I aim to have some further updates out over the next few days. Remember, if you're also struggling with mental health, reach out. You might find the mere act of formulating your issues into writing helps give a clearer picture in the dense fog. /Opus

Haha, I joke, but it's true. I say this every day but I need to manage my time better so while you're all holding me accountable, I'm going to use the time I have to get some content out for you. It's something I feel like I'm good at it and would make me happy and help push through this depression.

Opus Daystar | #EnVtuber | Composer / Musician | Youtuber @opusdaystar.bsky.social · 29/09/2025

What do I do now? Well, as much as I know that streaming and being a content creator is too much of a slow burn to reliably live off, I've got to at least try. So if you want to witness a desperate attempt at someone making something of themselves, then come along for the ride.

I'm thankful that I have people around me that support me, and those people are always telling me how good I am at stuff but when I'm consistently being told I'm not good enough by employers, it feels like it means nothing. Especially when applying for positions I'm overqualified for.

Earlier this year I suffered a little bit of burnout after one of the most productive months in my life, subsequently I then lost my job due to redundancy (company struggling financially) and ever since I've been spending each day hunting for work, but ultimately getting rejected at every turn.

So, it's been a while. I always thought about getting to a point in my career that I could be an advocate for mental health, helping others speak up about their issues and finding genuine support. It's times like this that I often forget about my own advice. Hi, I'm Opus and I'm depressed.

If you were to pick a song for Opus to cover in the style of an 80s synthpop track, what would you choose?
