optima @optima15.bsky.social · 16/09/2026big fan! enjoyed it a lot aesthetically, the floor theming and enemy variety was really up my alley was also a noticeable step up in difficulty from PotD, which i liked - we even had to abandon one run and go back to grind more aetherpool levels to eventually make this run at it 010

optima @optima15.bsky.social · 06/08/2026a lot of traditional mayan names also reference the mayan calendar (wiki linked) with as large as tural is, i think it'd be valid to reference other indigenous languages such as the Quechua language that was used in the Incan empire, but that's my personal take and moves beyond the xbr'aal stylingen.wikipedia.orgTzolkʼin - Wikipedia 031
optima @optima15.bsky.social · 06/08/2026i did some research into this! from what i can tell, most of the names in game don't directly translate, but borrow heavily from yucatan mayan in terms of phonetics/formatting (wuk lamat _does_ translate, roughly into "seven heavens"), so there's a bit of a freedom there in terms of formatting 120

![Three panel comic page.
Panel 1: The Exarch looks shocked, beaten as light dissipates around him.
Panel 2: In the dark, the spark of flame grows bigger and bigger. Text reads, "What strange creatures, we, like embers buried in ash, waiting for just a breath of air to catch, to burn bright enough to set it all ablaze, until naught remains."
Panel 3: The fire grows large enough to encompass the entire width of the page. In the white space, a faded image of Raih'a smiling gently appears. Text reads, "Except you. Except always, as it must be, you. [end]"](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:a7kmzaenfkopoy4oqsff7joo/bafkreiewsu4pirafgjpre5fzu5o7iu426dndlpyloaykmfg47baefbpbcu)
