Our partner Reza & team at Linnaeus University are working in the lab to extract biopolymers such as lignin from wood. Wood is composed of ~20–30% lignin, and knowledge of its content & relation to growth conditions can be used to sort logs for optimal use in biorefinery. #CBEJU #ForestryResearch
