Opher Vishnia @opherv.com · 01/06/2026Things that mean everything is going great in Magic: The Gathering but horrible if you're a tech CEO: "We've burned through an absurd number of tokens" "My board is full of ghouls" "I'm sacrificing all my humans to generate value" "My plan is to discard my hand and find treasure in the graveyard" 030
Opher Vishnia @opherv.com · 20/05/2026Cool! It feels like it will definitely lower friction for existing services to enable agent functionality that otherwise would have required building native MCP from scratch. I imagine a lot of the imperative functionality for the page already exists in the FE codebase, further contributing to this 110

Opher Vishnia @opherv.com · 17/01/2026Not really. Only in the evening. Maybe if you count the case where we're meeting with friends for coffee and the kids are playing with friends 😅 It's equal parts exhausting and satisfying. I guess I'll miss this once they're teenagers and I'll only see them when they emerge from their room caves 120
Opher Vishnia @opherv.com · 17/01/2026Ages 4 and 7 with special needs. I try to always plan ahead so that we have outside activities: meeting with friends & kids, outdoor playgrounds, shows, family, hiking. Anything to minimize indoors time otherwise they get frustrated quickly. Me time is only in the evenings after they're asleep 160
Opher Vishnia @opherv.com · 04/10/2025What if... doors were suddenly alive? They relocate, even reproduce. Any door can vanish and reappear elsewhere. People get trapped in their bathrooms. Homes are built with redundant exits. Parents teach kids never to trust an opening. Something I've been working on recently 000
