inb4 "you're a noob, you're a tourist" yeah dude, i just picked up the game like a week ago, we all have to start somewhere. I'm gonna play some of the other games after this one but I'm still learning, these aren't the usual kinds of games i like

000

Opal Moone @opalmoone.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

listen maybe it's because i just haven't fought it at higher ranks yet, and maybe it's just because I've only played rise so far. but the way people talked about tigrex, i really thought it would be awful. and sure, the fight was annoying but it wasn't that bad imo. plus he's cool as fuck

Opal Moone @opalmoone.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

last night i did the first tigrex fight in rise, my first mh game ever, and i was expecting it to be satan itself based off of what I've seen fans of the series say, but i actually didn't think it was that bad and i really like tigrex

one time i went to a convention with a friend and his oldest son, and his son was bitching about how joker 2, which wasn't out yet, was going to be a musical because "batman should be dark and gritty, he ALWAYS has been" and i brought up adam west and he got so mad he didn't talk on the way home

i know comparing these may be a cardinal sin or whatever since it came out a few years earlier but this is my only frame of reference but man Final Fantasy VI has been really reminding me a lot of old pokemon and paper mario. I'm in love with it dude

Opal Moone @opalmoone.bsky.social · 14/05/2026

it does include a lot of ones that are popular, so don't be surprised if your suggestion is already on it, but does anybody have any recommendations? 2

so, i got xenoblade chronicles DE and have been obsessed with it. historically, I've not been into JRPGs but i guess being with my fiancee, who is a huge fan of them, has changed me because I've played around with a few and really enjoyed them. I'm keeping a list of ones that i really wanna play. 1

if you're able to help this wonderful person, please do so. gremlin is such a talented and incredible person and a pillar of the shiny hunting community, and everything that's been happening is really unfortunate

i haven't said anything because i didn't want to get ahead of myself, but while birding the other day i think i may have seen a leucistic northern mockingbird. very very excited, this is one of the highlights of my birding career

sorry to vent on main or whatever but hey when somebody is very clearly on the verge of crying at work and expresses to SOMEBODY ELSE that it's bc their friend passed 10 years ago, they don't want to be told that they should "just stay positive :)" bc their friend is in a better place thanks
