OpalKitty @opalkitty.bsky.social · 07/02/2026

i thought i was just starting to pick up as an artist, but this art block is intense and chronic this time around perhaps a good youtube video will help snap me out of it? but i ALWAYS say that... and then never actually watch any art tutorial videos because i'm lazy

my tradition every new year is to draw my characters wearing the gold banded black hat and the year number #furryart #furry #newyears

OpalKitty @opalkitty.bsky.social · 18/05/2025

i haven't posted anything in a while so here's a drawing of Ray from a year ago it's outdated because his hat is white now, and i got rid of all the bright yellow tips because they look ugly tbh

so i was waiting until i had better drawings of my OCs before i posted them, but that's not gonna happen any time soon, so i'm just gonna post them anyway this is Shadow, my first OC, and the one most people i talk to know me as none of these drawings even have hands ;-;

i've put off creating an art account for so long because i never could figure out what my name would be and even now, i just realized that some furry on youtube is already named "OpalKitty" and now i am panicking

OpalKitty @opalkitty.bsky.social · 02/03/2025

i've never really quite finished any artwork i have ever worked on, and it's always super rough sketches it just feels wrong to post such messy drawings on an official account but ALL of my art is rough sketches, so... and also i don't know how to deal with watermarking it and all that
