ya’ll… I was seeing this guy and he eventually asked me to be his gf. I said yes (stupid ik), then he got “sick” and would disappear for days on end without a word claiming he “fell asleep” (early in the day through the night) for 4 days in a row with no text or call or anything… +

“woke” is a term that has been around since the early 1900s to signify being aware of the oppression of black people. in recent years, it has been stolen to refer to “social justice warriors” as almost a slur, or to people being aware of social issues in general rather than just black issues.
