Throwback to when I spent 2.5 years and over 100 sessions running an #EdgeOfTheEmpire game during Covid.

Character designs for a #NaNoWriMo trilogy I still haven't finished. I'm not quite sure how it's all going to wrap up. Maybe a fourth book is needed.

Another older Dark Crystal Age of Resistance piece I made, this time it was one of Princess Breha. So much time has elapsed, and we still haven't been given proper resolution for this story. I'm not the first fan of a Netflix show to feel this way, unfortunately.

Art backlog: here's Deet from #thedarkcrystalageofresistance I still haven't forgiven Netflix for cancelling this show.

god I love getting into discussions that are just like...

crop of The School of Athens by Raphael, closing in on Plato and Aristotle who are wearing a chiton and cloak with "sickos" written on them

I listened to the recording and I thought it sounded good, but I don't have much audio-editing experience myself. Thanks for the shout out with my art!!

This background asset was from a cathedral in either Monaghan or Cobh. Truly my entire graduate degree was a sidequest to hone my fanfiction.

I low-key wonder if any of my readers use the metro and do a double-take on some of my background assets. --- #fanfiction #starwarsau

One of the things I like about using a comic medium for my #fanfiction is how I can visually portray Luke and Leia's #forcebond --- #starwarsau #starwarsfanfic

Found out there's a place nearby that sells British and Irish food imports. I have been craving Taytos since I went to graduation back in Cork during the spring.

Although it might be a bit disappointing that the Our New Hope protagonists never win fights, I never thought it was super realistic for a teenager to win a fight against an adult with more training. Their best option is to always run away.

I had an urge to draw some undead again. So I drew Xiphus, Castellan, Franziska. Always good to keep some dragons around, even when your boss is the biggest necromancer around. After all dragons are always strong. #art #undead #dragon #oc #artsky #ocsky

Getting to the point in #twilightnewmoon where Jacob is about to experience his werewolf-induced personality shift and dreading it. Up to this point he has been the GOAT as Bella's best friend. It's all downhill from here.

Picked up a piece of writing I hadn't touched in over a month. I reworked the opening scene of one of the first chapters. It's small progress, but it's still something.

Style tests for Lykaos's wolf form. Although I initially had it be brown, I shifted the palette to black. It is more striking. When I'm feeling less-motivated, I can just draw him as a blob. #maiteproject #werewolf #bronzeage

Although I know quite little of the professional publishing world, I feel I've noticed a pattern of "acceptable" depictions of mental illness in media. The realities of these conditions are often much messier and stranger than what makes it to print or screen.

Still working on this, believe it or not. I promised myself I would try not to be a perfectionist, so I wouldn't agonize over every detail and actually get this done. It's not working. #starwarseu #fanfiction

New Moon Continued (1)It does a good job portraying high-functioning depression. (2)Bella has a great friend group: Mike Newton spent all night looking for her when she was lost; Jessica is willing to hang out after being blown off for months. Bella, you lucky girl!!! #twilight

Think about Miss Piggy. She lost a best friend and now an ex-lover in matter of 24 hours.

Working on a kinda space fantasy. I realised "Earth" might not be called that by outsiders, as it is an uncontacted planet. The name I'm playing with is "Cordove," an anglicization of Córdoba. Planets might have been named after one of their largest at the time of first contact.
