Hey guys. I wanted to check in and give you guys an update.

I want to preface this with a disclaimer: I am not in danger. I am not a danger to myself. I am safe and with good people.

But I am not doing well.

Something inside me snapped the other day and I fell apart. I texted the suicide hotline number.

The world feels so endlessly bleak, like nothing will ever turn around in my lifetime. War, AI muddying what is real an what isn't, the complete erosion of empathy, a government that doesn't care if me or my friends live or die. I know I have to persist, but god. It's so hard.

If I'm awake, my head won't shut up. So I sleep. I sleep and I sleep. And I'm still so tired. I am struggling to do basic day-to-day functions such as eating and showering, let alone getting to work to get my bills paid. I'm broke. I can't keep up, and I feel like a failure.

I am going to seek medical treatment for my ADHD to see if it can help me function. I don't know if I'll be able to afford it, but I can't afford most things these days. C'est la vie.

Long story short... I'm having a mental health crisis, and I'm sorry for not doing better. I have lots of kind and supportive people in my life, and I don't want to let them down. I know I've been bad at responding to messages. I know I'm behind. I swear I'm doing my best, and I hope you are all willing to be patient with me.
