Other part being I hate when remakes like this try to make it more realistic without updating how models especially look. Adult Link seems to be fine but child looks a bit off and child zelda especially is pretty bad as is the rest of castle town, very creepy plastic doll kinda looks and proportions

Overall just kinda meh on the oot remake from what we've seen so far. I'm sure it'll be fun still just not the most excited about it and don't have a switch 2 anyways. Partially because I imagine how annoying all the menuing to swap the active item between hookshot and bow constantly for example.

Which there's that part of my brain that is like "Okay I imagine they would have cut out a lot of this character's backstory and a few other choice scenes in another episode and just mashed two episodes together just to avoid it all together or out right skipped the episode as a whole."

For example from way earlier in the show. A child gets their digimon right as the refugee camp they lived in gets hit with a missile/a mortar, making them the lone survivor and they keep looking for a way to die in battle because of survivor's guilt.

Every now and then Digimon Beatbreak has an episode that just makes me go "I can only imagine how they would have censored this for us if it aired at the peak of 4kids localizations." The most recent episode would have been an easier one to edit around/downplay for sure.

And like the pc games was always just up for grabs on the shelf unlike the console games which were always locked down and you had to get someone to get the game for you. Would it be nice to have more physical for pc? Yeah but also retailers decided pc was dead which is why steam got popular.

I find it interesting that the recent debacle of playstation wanting to go digital only and some blaming pc for it is that retailers killed physical for pc. Like unless you were blizzard or the sims your local store only carried a handful of pc games compared to the massive wall or two of console.
