Thoughts on the second episode: I like the beginning scene where he talks about how people like a martyr, pretty much comparing himself to Jesus. Represents the cult of personality that is fascism and just how much Mussolini wanted to be the centre of attention.

They really show how violent and downright evil even the first blackshirts were. I was kind of worried this would suffer from protagonist syndrome and accidentally make Mussolini sympathetic, but they manage to make him feel like a slimy bastard even when all the speeches are adequately hype.

Thoughts on the first episode: First off props to Marinelli and the direction absolutely stellar job. Marinelli portrays an incredible Mussolini and the direction sells him perfectly. Chills i tell you. Also as far as i know very historically accurate. ->
