Concluding this amazing summer school (sfb1287.uni-potsdam.de/summer-school-2023/) with a poster session today. I'll be presenting work from our recent paper Özsoy and Blum (2023): doi.org/10.1017/S0142716423000267… Find the poster, data, and code in our OSF project: osf.io/6zcxu/
A poster by Onur Özsoy and Frederic Blum for the UMLV summer school. The poster is titled "A heritage speaker by any other name: Variation in speech fluency through multilevel Bayesian Regression". The key conclusion on the top of the poster says "Are we looking in the right place, when we try to compare groups to each other, especially different mono- and bilingual speaker groups? Probably not. We should look at variation!"
