Ending this with one more idea: evolution items turning you into their related pokemon in mind and body. Especially fun if you're specifically attempting to take a moon stone that a group of Clefairy are currently fascinated in, only to soon also become enraptured with the stone in your hand.

Pokeball types capturing, transforming and hypnotizing you into the pokemon of the related type, be it the actual type of pokemon or types that are tangentially related: net balls turning you into a dumb Magikarp, healballs turning you into a nice Chansey or audino with a knack for medical practice.

Not a mechanic but imagine performing similar steps to the old man glitch irl only to ACTUALLY ENCOUNTER MISSINGNO, Who then corrupts you into an exact copy of itself. Might list more abilities later but let's move on to the next mechanic: mass outbreaks. This is a fun one, imagine getting a notification about a mass outbreak of delibird in your area, looking around not seeing any, not notice the feathers growing across your shrinking body until it's too late.

Trying to fight a Porygon z only for DOWNLOAD to work both ways, slowly converting your whole party and you into porygon-z's as well, corrupting your minds and identities with its own data.

Hugging a goodra, only for gooey, it's hidden ability to cause it's goo to stick to you, spreading across your growing body and maybe even getting into your head through your ear, coating your brain in goop as you hug it even more, goodra instincts taking hold. ^^

Next you've got some specific abilities: a zoroark's illusion somehow affecting you as well, turning you either into another zoroark or maybe even a zoura. Just try to not fall too deep into the illusion. Believe it too much, and it might just become reality.

The idea is still really fun, twisting a mechanic this rare that only really effects your teams stats to instead kickstart the end of humanity. I like this one, very good but very common.

First up we got the obvious one: pokerus. I don't need to go much into this one, if you've read any pokemon mass tfs back in the day, you probably ran into one that uses this.

Pokemon has a lot of good mechanics that can easily be twisted to work as tf methods, so I wanted to make a thread highlighting some of them. ^^

Maybe this is just a break from your everyday life or you just find joy in being something so generic, so alike in every way to the others around you. Nobody but you knows, and none of us can judge. After all, we don't know which one you are ^^

Even better is that a lot of these enemies HAVE precedent for them to have the ability to stand out and be their own characters, you have this ability the whole time....so why don't you do it? Why not give yourself at least a tiny bit of your autonomy back?

An enemy that's more like a royal subject thats not a koopa? Waddle dees sound like your speed, just be ready to make that penguin you now call your king happy and you should be treated the same back. plus unless you want a specific hat like the ones in waddle dee town, this is peak genericness

Maybe something more mechanical like a motobug or catakiller, either stuck in a robotic shell or just straight up entirely a robot, most autonomy stripped away from you, a simpler more robotic life sitting in front of you
