Irein is a botanist/miner and an omnicrafter. Her botany/mineralogy skills are directly related to her Echo and were her primary focus of study in the Studium. As for her crafting, most of it was out of necessity, living in a family of lesser means- Irein mostly repairs things rather than makes

The scene takes place after the final cutscene of patch 7.5, where Calyx shares one last conversation with the Warrior of Light in Mor Dhona. After his departure, Fray is the first to break the silence, voicing their irritation with the situation before gradually composing themselves. They then remark that they should return to the First to warn Yahsre and his family about the looming threat facing every reflection.

As they start suggesting they head back to the Crystal Tower, Fray turns and notices Elanor has been standing frozen the entire time, her expression strained and distant. She’s shivering, sweat gathering along her forehead and neck, and she looks dangerously close to falling apart.

Fray pulls her into an embrace as she mutters that she does not want to drag Yahsre and the others into this. The idea of bringing more grief to the people she loves, of pulling the worlds toward another round of the Final Days and of agreeing more with the enemy's methods rather than the Scions' is eating away at her.

Fray reminds her of one of the biggest rules the three of them made for each other: no more secrets, and no more lying about what they’re going through. They then ask if she remembers what theirs and Yahsre’s side of that promise was.

Elanor’s expression drifts even further away, sinking into the detached, dissociative haze she reaches when the weight of everything becomes unbearable. After a moment, she manages to say that their promise was for her to never having to fight alone again.

Fray’s hold around her tightens as they remind her that the promise was never only about the battlefield. Troubles of the mind count too.

Fray returns to the First and does their best to relay all the information gathered to Yahsre. He seems deep in thought about it all. Fray asks if there’s any chance Ceo, the Ancient whom Yahsre is a shard of and whose consciousness is currently a hostage in his mind, might know anything about the Solstice. Yahsre explains that Ceo was not highly regarded among Convocation members and that her insanity was well documented even in ancient times. He has little access to her memories, but says Wicked Allium, another shard of Ceo, might know more, so he says he will ask her later.

The conversation shifts to Elanor, who is sitting on a bed with an expressionless face. Yahsre asks Fray how long she has been like that, and they say it has lasted all evening. In the past, when Elanor disassociated or had a depersonalization episode, Fray would swap places with her. Now that they no longer share a body, they thought the best option was to bring her home. Yahsre remarks that she looks healthy and is still capable of understanding the world around her, so the chances of an early recovery are good. He is about to use his powers for an incantation that would put her into a peaceful slumber when the apartment door creaks open.

Yahsre’s sister Taara and his daughter Suvi walk in hand in hand. Taara tries to explain that Suvi could not be persuaded to be patient and wait to be called in, but Suvi keeps interrupting her, asking repeatedly to see her mother. Hearing her voice seems to snap Elanor back to reality as she mutters her daughter’s name in response. Suvi excitedly runs over and almost trips on the steps in her rush to reach her.

Suvi rushes over and wraps Elanor in a hug, welcoming her home for the day. Elanor fumbles her reply, then pulls her daughter in tightly. Color returns to her face as she laughs and speaks with Suvi, showing clear improvement after the embrace. In the background, Yahsre organizes for the rest of the family to eat together that night. He exchanges a meaningful glance with Fray, who returns a relieved smile.
