Favorite rules-lite system? I still need to find a group for Blades in the Dark, but I might as well build up a catalogue while I’m at it.

I have a soft spot for Rogues because they’re on par with people literally warping reality simply by being really good at being quiet.

Help me choose the background music for my Dungeon Crawl Classics one shot at Green Dragon Fest! I can only bring a handful of tapes. The adventure is a fun dungeon crawl, no other context necessary. I numbered them to make it easier to comment, but you don't have to use them.

3 stacks of 42 cassette tapes, primarily of 70s and 80s rock

There don’t really seem to be Ren Fairs in the UK but they do have full speed jousting competitions. Really taken the RP out of LARPing (or never put it in to begin with??)

Sure you can have your party fight a dragon, but why not just give the dragon a big ass sword?? What’s the downside???

Honestly the most unbelievable part of D&D is that the various sentient species and nations across multiple planes of existence agreed on a single Common language.

I keep wanting to run #dnd campaigns based entirely around what I’m reading/watching/listening to at the moment and it’s giving me whiplash

Fun Fact, the average mace is only 3.5-5lbs (~1.5-2.5kgs) which is way lighter than I would have expected

The speed with which my party moved from “we need to help this town” to “they’re collateral damage” is STAGGERING

I’m desperately far behind in reading the 2024 rule books but I swear if the Monster Manual hasn’t split up bludgeoning, piercing and slashing resistances I’m going to lose my mind.

Casting Fireball does a lot of physical damage but casting Fire Bald creates lasting consequences that a hairless henchman can rarely overcome
