And you better believe /one/ of them immediately made it as my phone’s lockscreen :’3

And the current pièce de résistance for my Saiyuki obsession is ‘Touched by Gold”, where I see that the colour has deep significance for Sanzo and Goku, and decided to include the whole team in it with Hands of Gold for Hakkai, and Heart of Gold for Gojyo.

22014

“Fine Oni so who’s your favourite Saiyuki charac—“ GLAD YOU ASKED l’m an unskippable cutscene for the Mass Murdering Gentleman Team Mom brimming with barely-contained wrath who knows he’s going to Hell and has absolutely made his peace with it. Cho Hakkai, the absolute madlad that you are 💕

02512

Saiyuki train plowing through full speed, and knowing that Cho Hakkai is loosely based off JTTW’s Pig/Pigsy, I HAD to make a more feral Youkai version of him with boar/babirusa features, for when he loses COMPLETE control of himself.

0102

Because I DID NOT forget the Kougaiji-tachi, but also the furry in me loves the idea of Youkai in Saiyuki with more animal features, hence hints of caracal in Kou, crocodile in Dokugakuji, fox in Lirin and rabbit in Yaone. (Kougaiji carries Haughty Catboy RIDICULOUSLY well)

Rising out of the depths deep in the clutches of a new-old obsession of mine, and y’all in for the ride per usual 😂 Saiyuki was one of the most formative pieces of media in my teens and these boys will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart, hence this the very first fanart I’ve done of them!

Happy Eid/Salam Aidilfitri from the TTB cast! OP’s handing out Eid money, Baby Springer plays with a sparkler and Sari schemes to take the adults to the cleaners for that sweet Eid cash, while Laserbeak figures her talents may lie in something other than ketupat-weaving with Ravage and Soundwave.

In which the Matrix is a burden, a weapon, and sometimes the best person to hand a sword to is someone who thinks twice about the power it gives them, because what matters is who that power protects. (3/?) #humanformers

🎶 Some people got the real problems Some people out of luck Some people think I can solve them Lord heavens above 🎶 The ‘Cold Constructs’ of The Ties That Bind (Megatron, Prowl, Ravage, Starscream, Blaster and Laserbeak) and the barcodes that mark them as second-class citizens #Humanformers

Because Jazz taking up the mantle of leadership in TTB’s Functionist Universe deserves a splash page of its own. The division between Decepticon and Autobot doesn’t exist in this world, so Starscream remains a part of the first rebellion! (2/?) #humanformers

I realised I hadn’t put up TTB Prowl’s revamped character sheet and had to fix that! He’s become the universe’s dark horse in development, and I love his story of reclaiming the humanity stolen from him as a ‘tool’ of the state. More info on him and TTB in the pinned post! #humanformers #Maccadam

Humanformers version of Brainstorm I had to pin down finally since he appears prominently in Ties That Bind’s Functionist Universe arc! His vibe is Matthew Gray Gubler as Dr. Spencer Reid with a rockstar complex fistfighting internalised classism. #Humanformers #Maccadam #Brainstorm

Humanformers Prowl doing battle against a Terminator Cop version of himself during TTB’s Functionist Universe arc, because I love the idea of him facing his old demons and prevailing over them thanks to the growth he experiences through his friendship with Jazz and the Autobots.

QPR with some old art you still love! My days creating WWE fanart from 2014 to 2018-ish coincided with me making a 100% IPad-only migration and exploring new art styles, and one of my favorite projects was a WWE Tarot card series. Finn Balor as The Magician was a particular standout!

A tarot card depicting WWE wrestler Finn Balor as The Magician. Finn is standing on a cliff peak with a feral grin, half his body warped by his Demonic self. He holds a clawed hand high, and behind him is the demon Balor silhouette against the glow of the fiery Eye of Balor, which is staring at the viewer from between its spread-out wings.

'Boys workin’ on empty Is that the kind’a way to face the burning heat? I just think about my baby I’m so full of love I could barely eat' Miners Impactor, Megatron, Terminus and Missit singing a song to ease their workday down in a Yorkshire mine before the Great War. #humanformers #maccadam

Four miners in a dark mine sing together and work under the lights of their helmets. Impactor and Megatron, to the left, are topless and dirty, and have their shirts tied around their waists. Impactor sports a bright purple beard and mohawk that sprouts from his helmet. Megatron has a barcode on his shoulder. Terminus, wearing denim overalls, hauls a bag of coal as Missit shovels through a pile of them.

'If I could get Another chance, Another walk, Another dance with him I’d play a song that would Never, ever end, How I’d love, love, love To dance with my father again' Little Megatron shares a dance with Terminus in one of the few good memories he holds dear to him. #humanformers #maccadam

'Goodbye, gravity Goodbye, enemies I’m going up to a place Where the world is small Where I can fly above it all If I don’t make it, sing my song From here I’m weightless No stars are famous And the world is small' Starscream's first flight, and he's loved the skies since. #humanformers #maccadam

A human version of Starscream with long red and black hair flies upwards through spiraling clouds at dawn towards the viewer. He wears a winged flightsuit and has his arms stretched out, with a look of jubilant wonderment on his features.

Worldbuilding for The Ties That Bind, featuring my designs for the Quintessons under their armor! They come generally in three configurations: standard, warrior and intellectual class (pictured is a judge), and the more heads they have, the higher their position in society. #maccadam

This set of images done after I watched War for Cybertron way back on Netflix, kickstarted my love for Humanformers and solidified my version of Ratchet for Ties That Bind, and it still stands well on its own! Impactor is not escaping the snark as a patient. #Maccadam #humanformers #transformers
