Genuinely, this completely rules
-Recently, the game has been going viral on X for its beautiful undressing animations. I’ve even read in one of your previous interviews that the development team practiced stripping themselves as reference for the undressing animations. What was the process behind making the animations actually like?

Matsui:

I’d love to know how far that story has spread. It’s true.

First, we write a plot for each undressing scene, then draw storyboards, exactly as the original team did. Then the real work begins, because the animation is essentially all keyed by hand. A designer moves the clothing’s 3D model, frame by frame, manually. It really is pretty much like the claymation method I mentioned.

We did try automating it with physics simulation first, but it was a total failure. The cloth moved in a physically correct way, but had absolutely no allure. We learned a profound lesson: accuracy and sensuality are two unrelated properties. In the end, we accepted that humans would have to do all of it.

Then VR adds its own weight. In a normal game, if something becomes awkward, you can cut away or swap models between scenes. In VR, the player can look from any angle at any time, so none of those tricks are available. The same model has to undress convincingly no matter where you’re standing. When I described this to a designer at another studio, he said, “I would never do that.” I’ve chosen to take it as a compliment. And then, yes, the part you’ve read about. The undressing motions themselves use motion capture, but the deeper problem was that nobody actually knew the correct rhythm and order in which a person takes off clothes. So, the directors gathered and undressed themselves as reference. “That zipper is coming down too fast.” “She’d pause once before slipping her shoulder out.” These were serious, sober discussions. For compliance reasons, the Super Real Mahjong Venus Returns team works in a walled-off section of our office – and that was the moment those walls truly earned their keep.

there's actually quite a bit of overlap with how they behave and how radfems do. they're ostensibly fighting for the rights of someone, but they'll turn on them in an instant and start hurling insults that, ironically, prove they're just as bigoted as those they fight against.

they call themselves "disability advocates", but they don't actually care about anyone other than themselves and their clique, and if they see ANYTHING that they could interpret in bad faith, they'll leap on it like starved hyenas.

I'll just let you imagine what conversation led to this. it'll probably make more sense than what actually happened.
"Kristina Osobka": Wow. That's original you half wit.
Can't answer questions or even justify why you are commenting on online chronic illness communities or diseases you probably don't even know how to pronounce.
Now with that, you are not only dumb you are incredibly boring and obtuse.

Vought is breaking the law but he is not “going rogue.” At his confirmation hearings, Vought told Republicans he would do this and they voted for him anyway. If they want to stop him, they still can via impeachment. They won’t.

we're not allowed to have varying interests and goals AND be disabled, if our online(!) presences aren't sufficiently saturated with diagnoses and pictures of ourselves wearing masks, we're plant feds with internalized ableism.
130
limbo's hostile hideaway @onionne.bsky.social · 27/09/2026
when we complain that some of these people have "made their disability their entire personality", they try to argue that well, of course it's a huge part of their life! but we can see right here that unless someone has made their social media account ABOUT their disability, they're dismissed
140
limbo's hostile hideaway @onionne.bsky.social · 27/09/2026
I'm also guessing they just checked the "x person you follows also follows them" thing, which means that they would only accept this person as actually disabled if those people /followed them back/

limbo's hostile hideaway @onionne.bsky.social · 27/09/2026
yep, I noticed that. and the assumption that they are following everyone important in it.

limbo's hostile hideaway @onionne.bsky.social · 27/09/2026
the fact of the matter is that being disabled is incredibly depressing but we cannot only focus on that. we have to focus on what ways we can improve our lives, even if our lives never ultimately look the way we wished they did. if we don't, we'll become consumed with negativity until we die.

limbo's hostile hideaway @onionne.bsky.social · 27/09/2026
they also always intentionally take the worst possible reading of anything. the top OP said nothing about disability "being fake", at all, it was not implied in the slightest. but she doesn't agree with everything these people think word-for-word, which means she's evil.

limbo's hostile hideaway @onionne.bsky.social · 27/09/2026
this is why I'm not part of the "disabled community" on twitter (or here), the loudest people and biggest names are like this. conspiratorial, self-obsessed, dismissive of disabled people who have differing lived experiences. ironically incredibly ableist.
TOP TWEET: when i got my POTS diagnosis my neurologist told me that i should absolutely not get involved with online communities for it bc most of the people there were obsessed with being sick forever. and at the time i was like wow that’s fucked up huh but actually she was 1000% correct

QUOTE TWEET 1: This account has 700 followers, their other posts have 1 like but now they post about disability being fake and all of a sudden they have 14k likes. It's a coordinated operation, and more than likely this engagement is inauthentic.
@Safety look into it, several accounts involved

QUOTE TWEET 2: I’ve notice this with a lot of the posts about disability over the last few days. They’re all being amplified by a bunch of low follower accounts with barely any activity. It’s clearly an op. But who is paying for it?reply to quote tweet 1 ("mel"): I notice i have no mutuals with them in the community, which tells me they are likely a plant/fed account

my reply: have you considered that not all of us who are disabled will want to be friends with people in YOUR community? or friends with people YOU personally like? you're so disgustingly ableist and you don't even realize it.

"mel": Fuck off fed

tried to avoid super mario sunshine but the more I thought about it the more it had to be on there. unsurprisingly these are mostly games played between 2003 and 2007, you can probably guess the age range. bb & ffxiv shb are the adult outliers, diablo is the pre-10 years of age outlier

I tried to only add a game if it could specifically be pointed to as influential. no pokemon because that was more like yellow-crystal-sapphire. no yoko taro games because it was the drakengard-nier one-two punch. and yes, I know, no odin sphere, but it was close.

unfortunately if it were made of leather the price would be even higher (unless they used bad leather I guess). I really don't like how they obscure where they're manufactured, though.

How I’ve Been Pronouncing It (Feat. Foghorn Leghorn, my… roommate?)
Comic. I’m at my desk, leaning over to the doorway, saying “Hey! Foghorn! Foghorn Leghorn! Get in here!”
Foghorn Leghorn is walking past the doorway, “Boy, I tell ya, I tell ya, not so loud, boy. What, I say, I say, what d’ya want?”
Next panel, I’m gesturing to my computer. “How do I find that really good manga you recommended? It’s an anime now? I keep getting Halloween costumes.” Foghorn leans over my chair, “well, boy, I say, I say, you ain’t typin the entire title.”
Last panel, I turn around- “you said ‘witch hat.’ Foghorn gets in my face- “open your ears, boy!! ‘Witch Hat Atelier, I tell ya! I tell ya ‘Atelier,’ I tell ya’”

that being said I have heard that most of the best chinese and indian food is not in toronto proper but in other places in the GTA. which makes sense, this isn't the ideal place for most new immigrants to start up restaurants anymore, too expensive

even if I were to go at it at a higher difficulty, I'd still have to defeat swaths of enemies, and would still have a bunch of fancy skills, so that "deliberate" element would still be missing.
130
limbo's hostile hideaway @onionne.bsky.social · 20/09/2026
I don't think the fact that I can obliterate large swaths of enemies a few hours in is exactly a flaw, it's just a different style of gameplay. but I do think it takes away some of the danger and the challenge that were present.
130
limbo's hostile hideaway @onionne.bsky.social · 20/09/2026
enjoying Diablo IV thus far but one thing I think I prefer about the first two entries (especially the first) is how much more deliberate and gradual gaining power is

they spend all their free time ranting about how everything wrong with canada is canada's fault and the US has never done anything wrong. this is why they're struggling at a federal level, "our country sucks, let's keep fighting amongst ourselves" is NOT the moment
040
limbo's hostile hideaway @onionne.bsky.social · 16/09/2026
what's happened is that being under trudeau for so long (and liberals in general, but especially One Dude) has warped the canadian right into being generally anti-canada. certainly not advocating for a PC win, by the way, but this is why they are so cucked
130
limbo's hostile hideaway @onionne.bsky.social · 16/09/2026
people sadly underestimate how difficult it is to move to a different country. I wish I could tell a certain subset of canadians to just go to america. alas! not realistic.

nothing pisses me off quite like seeing a non-initialed goyard st louis tote bag in the wild. that means they went all the way to a Goyard boutique, of which there are fewer than 40 in the world (0 in Canada), and specifically did not buy a saigon or saigon structure.
