Reposted by ongaku.clubSteve Layton @shindakun.net · 21/11/2025I've got too many bsky accounts!!! 022
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 15/11/2025And we're back, with more space and required permissions for the app to post to @bsky.app. Neat. Still makes the Oauth perms screen a bit scary looking. 000
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 15/11/2025Guess I'll pull the trigger and add space to my instance. Bringing the apps down for now while that happens. Should I back up first? Nah! #yolo 000
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 15/11/2025The only issue with admin'ing my own box is watching that limited file storage. I might need to bump up to the next size. 000
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 15/11/2025I should do some work on @bitcasterradio.com this evening. Take a break and listen to some tunes. I wonder if I can add a scrobble to it, though I guess I don't always listen, only stream on @stream.place. 100
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 15/11/2025Went completely overboard and hooked up Prometheus and Grafana to my app. #overkill #sysadmin Old skewl like too, no Docker containers anywhere... yet. 000
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 14/11/2025Rather than have a separate docs website, I decided to use a directory of Markdown files with some images and convert them on the fly to HTML. Basic docs are coming later today! #dev #improvements 000
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 14/11/2025v0.4.3-e3085f7 is live, I really need to work on getting some artists and users lol 000
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 14/11/2025Added an upgrade button to account settings so users can upgrade to artists, and we don't have to do it for them. #dev 140
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 14/11/2025Replaced in production file storage with S3! Feels more like my app is a grown-up now lol. 020
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 14/11/2025Should have both sites updated to v0.4.0 this evening. Possibly v0.4.1, as I want to implement something for better releases rather than just cutting over to the new version. 000
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 12/11/2025I really need to get looking for someone to actually test uploading. Maybe I should get the payment system finished though. 000
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 12/11/2025Small fix this morning around using different GTM accounts depending on if we're in prod or not. 000
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 12/11/2025I guess I'll continue working on the next phase of the upload system and listen to some music. 020
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 12/11/2025@chiptune.gay would it be OK if I messaged you about a project I'm working on? Kinda like Bandcamp but built around #atproto and @bsky.app tech. 110
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 12/11/2025Not my smoothest deploy but we now have an empty site running "in production" and the prototype site running the same version, v0.3.0-a33e581, ready to be prompted to being our "beta" instance. ongaku.club lives! Sort of!ongaku.clubongaku.club - Discover Independent MusicDiscover and stream independent music - Your gateway to underground albums, emerging artists, and hidden gems 110
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 12/11/2025OK. I think the upload branch of the project might be ready to #merge. It contains more than just uploading; I added a bit of backend management to make life easier down the road. #development 110
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 12/11/2025Seems pretty easy to add an embed to the #bsky app source. The problem is, it looks like a number of them don't get merged. I mean, I guess I get it — you shouldn't support everything... should you? #opensource 020
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 11/11/2025Startinng to look like a "real" site with the release of v0.2.3-38b5195 to the prototype domain. Yet more work to be done. 000
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 11/11/2025Just a braindump of where we are at with the site and where we are going. I forgot to add that I need to prep the main domain for its big debut. The current prototype domain will probably move to be a "beta" domain, and we'll release there first before pushing to prod. More things to think about!ongaku-club.leaflet.pubThe Roadmap - 11/11/2025The current ongaku.club roadmap. 020
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 11/11/2025@leaflet.pub Do you support markdown flowcharts with Mermaid? 230
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 11/11/2025@pfrazee.com QQ, what's the proper format for embedding audio into a post? I can't seem to find any details. 100
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 11/11/2025Dang it! When I first created this account I saw a post from a Gameboy #music artist and I didn't follow it seems, and now I can't find them! Was gonna ask if they would put the album up on the site to help me test uploading. #thesearchcontinues 100
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 11/11/2025Think I'm going to call it a night. Got a lot done today, even have a basic record label section set up which *should just work* lol. 010
Reposted by ongaku.clubSteve Layton @shindakun.net · 11/11/2025I think uploading is working pretty well. 051
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 11/11/2025Lots of background work this evening. Added a functioning system for labels and/or artists to be able to upload albums into the system. I wonder if I should scour @bsky.app looking for #artists or #recordlabels who might be willing to test before the payment system is live. #hopesanddreams #dev 140
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 10/11/2025w00t! v0.2.0-65b1dd3 is live, scrobble away! Or don't you're choice! 000
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 10/11/2025Scrobblin! And proper account settings? We're coming along! Next comes some more backend stuff. 060
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 10/11/2025Need to add a link to the site, but I think we're going to just @leaflet.pub use as our blog software for the time being, and probably in the future. blog.ongaku.clubblog.ongaku.clubOngaku Club 110
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 10/11/2025I guess I messed up the data format a little, but we're seeing that something happened in the @teal.fm feed. #atproto #progress 140
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 10/11/2025Only problem with #atproto right now is probably the scary-looking auth screen, which is like you'll allow site access to everything. Wonder when we'll see more granular scopes. 141
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 10/11/2025Perfect, v0.1.1-d5f25f2 is now live on the prototype domain. #newrelease 010
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 10/11/2025Hooked up a branch with Stripe and made some progress on a purchasing system. It's all mocked data right now, but it works on my machine. #dev 110
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 10/11/2025Nothing is open source just yet, but I started an @ongaku.club repo over on GitHub and Tangled. ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 10/11/2025Just a little something about the state of the club so far. #atproto #music #devongaku-club.leaflet.pubTake it to the club! The first post! 051
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 09/11/2025Question: Do we need Claude in everything? I'm not sold yet, but it does make recommendations against the "available" artists, as it should. #dev #ai #atproto 010

ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 09/11/2025The prototype is already live, and not very hard to find. No scrobbling, but you can log in and add favs. Shares favs to @bsky.app by default right now. 000
ongaku.club @ongaku.club · 09/11/2025Working on a Bandcamp-like site, but with #atproto fun built in. Maybe we'll scrobble to @teal.fm? #whenourpowerscombine 182
