Top 8 at a Cup 4-1 in Swiss with TeraBox with the Mew Package! Lost to Slowking in Top 8 Moltres MVP

OnGaard @ongaard.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Matchups were fine, Kazam was just a hard L, Excadrill and Zoroark wouldve been Ws with Chien Pao, Flead I got a DPL like an idiot which cost me the set, and Turbo Teal Mask and the final Pult Ls were mainly bad prizing and mega bricks. Overall not a bad start to the season

OnGaard @ongaard.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Ended Top 512 at 7-6-1, some insane variance in the last 3 rounds 😭 Happy with the finish but I definitely couldve played way better, deck definitely needs Chien Pao. Toucannon is cool and helps into a bunch of matchups but is probably better used on other slots Matchups below

Target was out of Greninja and Sylveon collections, but I'm very happy with the ETB I got. Not bad for showing up at open and not camping out from 2am Seems like there will be plenty of this set to go around

Tried teching a mist energy into BirdBox for Kazam today. It doesnt do enough into Quad Hammers + 2 Ehammer Kazam 😭 Still happy to go 3-2 with the deck R1 Toucannon L R2 Bye R3 Pult W R4 Kazam W R5 Lucario W

Played a Worlds Celebration earlier and got Top 4 at 3-1 with CannonBombs This is a super in development list and I definitely have some changes I'd like to test, but it ran pretty well minus the 1 game I prized double Water Energy and Fan Rotom vs Straight Pult.

Lost in Top 8, but +75$ 4-1-2 overall Nicholas Westine cooked me with PultBlaze in Top 8. I think that one is the hardest of the Pult Matchups for this deck Deck ran super well though, it's so much fun to Play BirdBox ftw

Triple SIR Mega Darkrai pulled at the 96 PERSON PRERELEASE I HOSTED!!! Huge turnout today, was a blast!

OnGaard @ongaard.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

I think Toucannon has so many different use cases this upcoming format. I especially like it as a Crustle counter in Tera Box

OnGaard @ongaard.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

On July 26th I'm gonna be taking part in a big streamer showdown that I was lucky enough to be invited for (considering I barely still qualify as a streamer, lol) Looking forward to it!

43 Players for our Mid Year Celebration tonight!

050

OnGaard @ongaard.bsky.social · 19/06/2026

This is what I brought to NAIC. And I definitely think I made the right call in doing so. I think the only card I'd change is Black Belt's Training because its the only card I didnt use. I went 4-3-1 and as always my matchup spread looks extremely cursed.

050

OnGaard @ongaard.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

We had 29 Players for our last Challenge of the season! AND JOSH PULLED THE SIR GRENINJA!!! Your Top 8 was Joshua - Bolt Angel - StarmieLass Lleyton - Alakazam Nathaniel - Alakazam Anton - Hop's Trevenant Anthony - Chicken Pult Fabio - Rocket's Mewtwo Connor - OgerBox

OnGaard @ongaard.bsky.social · 26/05/2026

Had some meaningful testing tonight, all of the builds felt decent but I think there was some real potential in this NinjaSol build, we also updated the Festival Ninja build a bit and I'm a huge fan of where it's at rn.

OnGaard @ongaard.bsky.social · 26/05/2026

In a little under an hour I'm gonna be going live with a few spicy greninja builds We've got NinjaStars, NinjaGlace, NinjaSol and NinjaMeow to test out tonight.

231

OnGaard @ongaard.bsky.social · 24/05/2026

Just a short stream tonight, NinjaStars has potential, PultNinja seems strong, but this festival lead build is the most fun. It definitely got established most easily, it just struggles into pult considering how frail the engine is. We'll be back for more ninja testing on monday

130

OnGaard @ongaard.bsky.social · 24/05/2026

Going Live with some Greninja Testing in a few minutes, trying to figure out which lists function best this format Focusing on NinjaStars and NinjaPult tonight, gonna play some more rogue variations on Monday twitch.tv/ongaard

OnGaard @ongaard.bsky.social · 19/05/2026

We're gonna test some more postro decks tonight at 9 pm est Gonna start with TeraPult and NinjaBombs and then probably try out throwing dudunsparce engine into random decks.

OnGaard @ongaard.bsky.social · 22/04/2026

For the first time in awhile I've posted a deck profile video! I love right after rotation cause there's so much to test, Steven's Metagross I think has a ton of potential in this format. Video Below ⬇️

This was absurdly hard to decide on. There are so many pokemon I could put in underrated, nostalgic, personal backstory, pet and idk why I like this. But I think this is mainly what I settled on

030

OnGaard @ongaard.bsky.social · 22/04/2026

We had 38 Players come out for our League Challenge tonight, congrats to our Top Players Your Top 8 are 1. Dakota - TankLass 2. Daniel - StraightPult 3. Kameron - Mega Zygarde 4. Brian - StarmieLass 5. Eric - Grimmsnarl 6. Ricardo - Mega Lucario 7. Joshua - StarmieLass 8. Elodie - Grimmsnarl

Gonna stream again tomorrow (ig technically tonight) at 9 pm est, bit of a later stream but I just want to test some decks and vibe. Here's a few lists I'll test on stream. Feel free to drop by and hang out for a bit as we continue to learn what this format has to offer.

OnGaard @ongaard.bsky.social · 19/04/2026

Wendi got a GAME LOSS for a decklist error (that was totally my fault) so she had to change her Fighting Gongs for Buddy Buddy Poffins and STILL SACKED HER WAY THROUGH AND WON THE CUP Absolutely Crazy Cup

030

OnGaard @ongaard.bsky.social · 19/04/2026

Top 4 again with Tera Slop Box Kinda punted a crazy game 3 cause I overlooked a win condition. But we were in 3 turns AFTER +3 turns cause we were tied on prizes lol Cyrano should probably be Brock's scouting But ALSO Wendi won the cup, more below

OnGaard @ongaard.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

Fun Stream tonight, Metagross honestly feels insanely good this format, also got around to testing a bit of Cynthia's Garchomp, and build a fun little Tyrantrum deck for the memes. Thank you to all who came by to hang out, we raided SunnyTCG so go give him some love! List Drop Below

OnGaard @ongaard.bsky.social · 13/04/2026

Gonna stream some Post-Rotation testing tomorrow night, probably around 6 pm est. Gonna start with these 2 lists and build some more fun stuff on stream. Feel Free to Join me tomorrow and hang out and chat about Postro. Been a minute since I streamed.

OnGaard @ongaard.bsky.social · 11/04/2026

Topped with the Slop Ended in Top 4 going 5-2 overall List felt super solid, definitely need 4th Owl, thought Meowth would be a fine substitute but we need all 4. Probably cutting 2nd Clefairy for it because we play double stretcher. Super satisfied with my play today. Matchups Below

Ik the Champions launch hasnt been perfect. But ive been enjoying it. Here's my doubles sand team I've been vibing with so far.

010

OnGaard @ongaard.bsky.social · 06/04/2026

I'm glad that Tera Box survives the rotation. Cause this list is super fun. Might end up going up to double clefairy and maybe cutting either Terapagos or Pika (and changing energy count a bit). But the list feels solid for now.

OnGaard @ongaard.bsky.social · 04/04/2026

Look I may not have done well in main event. Went 1-2-2 after being slowplayed into Tie bracket at 1-0-2 But I FARMED sides Deck is insane when you hit fan rotom turn 1
