It's really hard for anyone to get carried in this game because it takes one person to completely ruin the match so if you are calling someone carried and losing to said person there's gotta be something worse happening on your team to cancel out how "carried" the other player is

2 other large issues Splatoon is NOT friendly to beginners, your locked out of most weapons modes and connection issues esp on launch did drive actual larger variety creators away. The testfire was better for new people then launch. In JP big creators want the splatoon audience bc its sizeable.
