iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Tagged along with some coworkers to help with a clothing/product shoot and one of the models didn't show up, so I had to stand in. Did I look and act a fool? Yes. Did I have fun? Yes!

I know media literacy is dead, but people are having some wild crash outs over the Lanterns finale.

Everything has felt pretty tiring lately, so I've been relaxing after work with Leafy Corner, a game where you own a plant shop! I've already grown all the plants I actually have! www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSsN...

Just bought a few standard blu rays from GRUV which means they will definitely be getting 4k transfers in the near future. I feel like that always happens!

Bit into my vegetarian breakfast burrito and pulled out a giant chunk of bacon 🤢 This has happened enough times at this place that I think I just need to stop coming here.

Ready to go home, shut off my brain and try this new fps rogulite. Moros Protocol looks fun and very much up my alley. www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1Un...

Had a shoot in the Special Collections department of the library and I asked about what their oldest items are. They showed me some Greek papyrus from 500 BC and it was a receipt for oil.

A Cheesecake Factory just opened up where I live and people are losing their minds. There's much better cheesecake in town.

A few weeks ago, my brother asked if I wanted to go to a concert. I said, "sure!" The concert is tonight and I completely forgot. I'm now trying to hype myself up, though I'd rather just stay home and play games or sleep. It'll be fun once I get there though and have a couple drinks.

Planted 30 saffron bulbs yesterday and 60 cloves of garlic today! Now I wait!

One of my favorite things about the game is that it is on the easier side. I've played a lot of tough games (for me) lately and it's nice to play something that has some challenges but doesn't make me feel like I'm gonna rage quit.

Rolled credits on Well Dweller! Still have a little bit of post game stuff to do. Absolutely adored my time with the game! Lovely story, fun gameplay, great characters! One of my favorite games of the year! Another fantastic experience by @kylethompsondev.bsky.social!

Yay! I hope you like it! It's very cute with some fun creepy bits! I'm thinking of getting Control Resonant after Well Dweller!

Can't wait to be done with work and go play more Well Dweller! Such a charming game! Love it so far!

During my shoot, I saw a friend I went to high school with who I haven't seen in 20 years and got to hold one of the actual letters written by BTK. An interesting afternoon!

It's baffling! I rushed to get an event highlight video done because a video like that needs to get posted ASAP. It's been a week and still nothing.

Sometimes I make social media videos for clients and they just don't post them. They pay for it and just don't do anything with it! Confusion!

It should be Emre because of his playstyle, but the visual aesthetics would work so well with Soldier!

Got a busy day of library video shoots, then gonna start Well Dweller when I get home! Hopefully this work day flies by!

Congratulations to @kylethompsondev.bsky.social for creating not just one of the most critically acclaimed games of the year - but one of the most acclaimed Metroidvanias of all time. As a reminder, Well Dweller launches tomorrow at 8am Pacific Time for Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PS5, PC, and XBOX

Transplanted about 30 veggies and natives into the garden yesterday and I'm exhausted this morning. Going to be a long week, but at least Well Dweller is out tomorrow!

Control Resonant looks fun but I never got around to finishing the first Control. Started it a few times but always fall off after a couple hours. Probably won't get around to Resonant for a while, so maybe I'll give Control another go this weekend.

Joe Rogan claiming that he's been a left-wing his whole life is hilarious. We knew these fools would try to rewrite their own history, but I wasn't expecting such a hard pivot. These people are bonkers.

New Orville Peck album is good! A bit short, but I like it a lot! Loving the bass riff on Run Out of Road.

"What's your beef with Australia?" "I don't like their attitude." I love D.E.B.S.! A friend and I used to quote it so much in high school. It was very much our personality for a while!

Saw that one of my Aunts liked a reel of some douche nozzle burning the Pride flag and I want to say some really mean things to her, but I won't... for now.
