1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 05/10/2026One upgrade in planning: zero visits from Manchester City during the 27-28 season. 2852
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 05/10/2026All the “what would happen if” stories make determining punishment seem complicated. I look at it more simplistically. Get rid of them. Negate their games and send them on their way. Let the team try to figure out what to do with their season & their players after they are gotten rid of. Simple! 160
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 05/10/2026Saka the most minutes for England forwards because god knows he doesn’t get enough time and needs to stay sharp. 140
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 05/10/2026Just Kai, Tzolis, Konsa hurt this break then. Basically as good as we could hope for, the way things usually go. These dumb breaks skew seasons and, as someone who doesn’t care for international football, infuriate me beyond belief. 7470
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 04/10/2026Yeah, just adding this to the mix in terms of complexities. 100
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 04/10/2026If ADUG were to sell how could anyone buying City know the value without a forensic analysis of everything since 2018? How can anyone interested take their reporting seriously? Absent a transparent view there’d have to be a galaxy-sized baked-in discount just to account for the proven deception. 4220
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 03/10/2026Checked the score and commentary of the England game and it looks like everyone has been subbed off. Except Saka. And people think we Arsenal supporters are paranoid with zero basis for that paranoia. 4221
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 03/10/2026Cambridge. Bartley’s Burgers. Get the onion rings. 130
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 03/10/2026Weirdly it only just showed up in my feed tonight. And I didn’t realize it was old! 010
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 02/10/2026Good guy (online is my only interaction) with some occasionally annoying takes (who among us, though, doesn’t?). 100
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 02/10/2026This is not remotely accurate. He’s a good dude (knowing him only online) who works hard on the ground to change our local Brooklyn politics for the better. 110
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 02/10/2026A “primary me and I’ll quit” text isn’t quite the resilient tough guy flex Tillis might think it is. 010
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 02/10/2026I heard Roy and Bernardo Silva scrapbook together. 130
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 02/10/2026My kid is mad at me, now doesn’t trust me because I got him “homemade pizza”. I told him to chill, that while I admitted it *was* from DiFara I was the one who picked it up, reheated it. He was still mad so I defended the claim b/c I didn’t buy it, they gave it to me. He’s still upset. #CityLogic 280
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 02/10/2026See now how sick would it be if a goalie skated out of his crease, dangled through the opposition, and roofed one on the opposing tendy? That would be AWESOME. 010
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 02/10/2026I’m speaking to the excitement and spectacle of the play as something less dependent on athletic brilliance/enduring skill and more to circumstance. 010
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 02/10/2026Hockey is the one thing I know from playing a little (very badly, but I was also around good players who still never came anywhere close to pro level and could do it!). It’s just such a rare circumstance. *Everything* needs to be perfect for the GK. Position players miss empty nets if they aren’t! 100
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 02/10/2026I don’t think so. There are very few runners who could pull off a 100 yard kick return and I think most NHL goalies can fling the puck into the other net in the right circumstances. And those rarely arise. It’s sort of an inside the park HR on a ball that the CF misses and rolls to the wall. 100
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 02/10/2026Goalie goals are cool but they are just flukes that require perfect circumstances. Most goalies could probably score one but never get a chance. It’s very cool and *really fun* but also not that impressive, if that makes sense. 240
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 02/10/2026This is better than what some people posting implied yesterday, so I’ll take this as a win! 250
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 02/10/2026Maybe the appeal board could publish their response as simply the Ray Liotta laughing GIF. 021
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 02/10/2026No. I think they thought they’d either not get caught or not found guilty. I think most of this can be answered with simplicity: their arrogance and sense of entitlement and ultimate power. They only know *making* the law, not following it. I don’t think there was much 3D chess here. 170
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 02/10/2026The best legal minds making thousands an hour come up with arguments that can be refuted through public record (and probably also by relatively intelligent high school students, if that’s what some awkward teen wanted to do as a weekend hobby). 170
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 02/10/2026When I read “former PL winner Oscar Bobb” I thought “wait, did I miss them already stripping City of the titles?”. 030
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 02/10/2026Not saying they should use that phrase but we are out of the “should they be found” phase. 000
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 02/10/2026Can they do to international breaks what the PL should do to City? 1120
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 01/10/2026What’s the deal with this fatuous statement? Replace “if wrongdoing is established” with the synonymous “if they are found guilty” (uh, they were). It thus reads like it was written either by a denialist or an idiot. 380
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 01/10/2026I am really confused by the rumored appeal by City and their explanation of the sources of their funds. Which I suspect is the intention. To obfuscate, confuse, self-contradict, to the point where nothing seems to make sense and everything is called into question. More cheating of the process. 9390
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 01/10/2026Ah, the angst of mere children. A sight to see. (I flip the calendar a crooked number tomorrow, happy birthday fellow Libra) 010
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 01/10/2026We have the best supporter-writers. The absolute best. Lewis knocks this one out of the park (as Tom and Tim and Blogs and many others have done elsewhere) on the City fiasco. 0143
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 30/09/2026If he’s a shrewd politician he will keep his fingerprints off explicit actions, and use softer (though strong) methods of influence. As there are a lot of people he would anger greatly if he intervenes in explicitly active fashion I expect it to all happen the way it is happening now. 050
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 30/09/2026Yep. An “I cannot comment on this, a process needs to run its course” statement would have been utterly appropriate. This is 100% finger on the scale stuff. 040
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 30/09/2026It’s beyond me how someone can think that these owners are fit to carry on the stewardship of this club, based on the ruling. 030
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 30/09/2026I think it’s pretty clear which direction he’s implying things should go, in all manners. He talks about Everton’s points deduction, fairness, etc. How responsive the PL is to this is unknown. 430
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 30/09/2026He rather openly reveals the direction he thinks things should go and why. And he’s the PM. This is a power dynamic game, and he’s got power - even if he says he won’t “intervene”. This is bad for the chance of an actually just punishment. 280
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 30/09/2026You read his quotes way more optimistically than I do. The full spectrum of what he says implies, rather bluntly, that he will be comfortable exerting pressure on the PL to soften penalties, even if he doesn’t technically “intervene”. 1170
1.76 Acres @onepointsevensixacr.es · 30/09/2026There is that. I maybe wrote my post a bit too broadly. There’s a ton of criticism and anger, rightfully. But today there seem to be more stories uncritically presenting City’s pushback and some columns that appear to try to glean sympathy for the team and/or supporters. 020
