I introduced my dog to my wife's hot water bottle and he loved it.

The modern version is the 3m Speedglass helmet for welding. The air tube in the rear of the mask is to force air into the helmet to prevent breathing in the fumes.

Black 3m SpeedGlass welding helmet. Clear viewing window with yellow ear protectors. Purple welding eye shield that auto darkens with light is slid down over clear viewing area when needed.
