I hope everyone attending #GAMA has a great time. I can't make it this year, but hope to see you there in 2026.

It's also being used in the worst way possible: to further remove us from communicating, creating, and thinking critically about how we engage in those endeavors. It's being wedged into the spaces where we should be most human, rather than processes that take time and energy from those pursuits.

One of my all time favorite artists. Have you ever listened to Ben Frost? Different instrumentation and structural approach, but his albums Theory of Machines and By the Throat Have a lot of similar vibes to Lorn.

The first interview I did at Pax is getting out there. Go give a listen for some good insight and overview of OnSlaughter.

And Pax Unplugged is in the books. Huge thanks to @gehennagaming.bsky.social for letting me share space, to all the folks who came to check out demos, do interviews, and talk about OnSlaughter in an industry capacity. And thanks to the friends old and new that I got to spend time with. 🖤💀

Hey, some of us would count that as a plus.

Oneiroscope Games @oneiroscope.bsky.social · 08/12/2024

Awesome, and it would be my pleasure. Let's make some plots and plans after the con.

Aren't we all just tiny, severed heads rolling around other people's phones when you think about it?

Oneiroscope Games @oneiroscope.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

An honor and a privilege. You keep doing cool things. Honestly, your work is something I think about when I start losing stream on a project, and it helps encourage me to keep going.

Can't wait to overhear everyone having a blast in room 105.

I admire the poster's art, but I just haven't had the energy to do it well or consistently since 2007 or so.

Based on the few shared conversations I've been in with you, that tracks. Also, part of why those conversations were all a delight.

I can happily attest that Alex is great to work with, and produces wonderful pieces. Can't wait to share what we've been coming up together in the coming months.

And so, the simulacra reigns. Imitation and pretension surpass the original and the real. Idiot aping of behavior is made sovereign over reality. I would weep for us, but it would offer me no joy, nor would it in any way make this grim truth more bearable.

If I'm a player, elegantly written. That makes me fall in love with and daydream about what I can *be* in the game. As someone running a game, dry and effective, as that gives me the clearest picture of what I can *do* with a game's framework. That tells me what types of stories will fit in them.

Speaking as a revenant, smash in that I would finish smashing its skull in (mine is perfectly fine, thank you), then harvest other useful bits for repurposing. Never hurts to have a few good spare parts on hand.

Oneiroscope Games @oneiroscope.bsky.social · 26/11/2024

Yes. There are a pile of games in my library that I know I'll probably never get to, but at least I could give a sale and a bit more traction to other people being passionate and making cool things.

Oneiroscope Games @oneiroscope.bsky.social · 26/11/2024

Looking forward to seeing you there!
