"This is the biggest scandal in all of American political history." My dude, it's just Tuesday. The bigger story would be if you could find anything that's NOT a fucking scandal with these rapacious thieves.

A take so bad, it's making me defend that hateful woman. Sex work is work. Leave the hypocritical moralizing to the Baptists who won't fuck standing up because it might lead to dancing.

Sinéad was right. About everything. My God, that woman moved me like few others ever have. Her beauty was only exceeded by her raw power - you cannot listen to "Troy" and be unmoved, it is physically impossible. She deserved SO much better than she got from this awful world.

PJs are the BEST OF THE BEST. Not SEALS, not Rangers, not Marines- the parajumpers. Their job requires a level of skill, training, and dedication which ordinary mortals cannot comprehend. I *hate* that we're in this position but am grateful the PJs are out there looking for the wizzo.

Sounds a bit like Mr. Frost is studying for his final exam and is intent on showing his work regardless of whether anyone wants to see it or not

RVA always, ALWAYS shows up and shows out. As sad as this is, it makes me proud to see our capital so fiercely speaking out in favor of humanity.

Wouldn't own one if it was free, but credit where due, this at least has some semblance of decent design work to it. It looks like a mid-80s sci-fi vehicle, and not in a stupid/ironic way. To sum up, fuck Musk and fuck Tesla.

If ever there was a single man who deserved our best wishes and best efforts, it's Pope Bob. This man is out here doing the Lord's work in the truest and purest possible sense. Not performative white-centered bullshit but pushing HARD for the poor, the sick, and the underprivileged.

As an aside, I'm not a huge fan of the design of newer Lambos but this one is surprisingly attractive in that olive color.

I just learned more about Irish history in 2 minutes and 49 seconds than I have over the course of my entire life. Zohran Mamdani might be the first NYC Mayor who doesn't get booed to hell and back at Fenway Field simply on the merits of this incredible message. Happy St Patrick's Day, sir.

I didn't realize you could pile chickenshit that deep. That's what every one of these insanely selfish, performative cosplaying cucks is - they're chickenshit. They're all mouth and no muscle - all talk and no walk. Gov't is literally murdering women and kids and they don't give a shit.

"Dude?!" "DUUUUUUUDE." "Dude, NO WAY." "Totally, dude." everyone online: "THIS IS PROOF OF EVERYTHING" 🙄 I mean, it's been obvious to anyone with eyes since it happened that this was a hit, but this feels like the epitome of an "unreliable narrator"

Hadn't read that, but I can *absolutely* believe that the recoil wasn't as damped as it probably should have been. From memory, the guys flying those things typically used them at pretty close range, so potential accuracy problems likely weren't quite as acute.

The Flak 18 37mm did pretty good when a pair of them were bolted to a Stuka, but that also meant the shells were going into the "softest" part of the vehicle, i.e. the top.

I dunno- the Shaheds were about the only consistently "successful" munition available to Russian forces, and now they're going to be held back for domestic consumption. Yes, he loves chaos, but chaos which HE orchestrates and controls, and he's just along for the ride on this one.

Apparently they were from the 4th FW at Seymour-Johnson; heard at least one was from 335 Sqn. That's their worst day for ground fire losses since 6 June 1944.

And whatever admiration I may have had for Churchill vanished like smoke after reading how he rolled over for Stalin and expelled all Polish forces within 48 hours after the war, and would not even let them participate in victory parades. Fuck that guy, seriously.

And proper gentleman that he was, he did not lay blame (although he damn sure should have)- he died reviled as an "appeaser", and his reputation has suffered the slings and arrows of unchecked hatred and lies for DECADES as you note. Churchill got the credit for the groundwork laid by Chamberlain.

Calum Douglas is, from a historian's perspective, a GOD AMONG MEN for his masterwork "The Secret Horsepower Race" as well as his commentary on Twitter- it was through him that I learned of Chamberlain's efforts in 1934/35 to secure proper defense funding when he was firmly rebuffed

That fuckstick is already working on tearing it down himself, so I don't think this would have any impact on him. There's some property in Florida, though... and around the world, which contributes to his income, which is the only thing he cares about

The absolute best books I have *EVER* read on the lead-up to and aftermath of WW1 have come from Margaret MacMillan ("The War That Ended Peace" and "Paris 1919"). Incredibly thorough yet also written in a very accessible manner - I cannot recommend them highly enough.
