in the 2016 movie "rosalie blum", the titular character has these polish pottery mugs, mismatched. i also have some, also mismatched. i think it's supposed to convey a bohemian easy-going-ness, but it's just very hard to find the same mug design twice. good movie, kind of amelie-ish.
