Amazing. Looks like a painting.

Today we are more than three million miles closer to the Sun than we were just six months ago.

My Mom, all of her brothers, and I ALL got the measles. Not one of my cousins, siblings, nephews or nieces got the measles.

My library has a day where you can come in and read to a dog.

I'll listen to those, too. Sometimes snuck some Yoakam onto my mixed tapes.

Yes, it was a good time for a re-listen. Back when I was a MTB bum my friend brought along her Social Distortion cassettes. Still so, so good.

April 1, 2023: With my friend Katima, lobbying the Frankfort City Commission to pass the CROWN Act, banning hair-based discrimination. Today: Attending the swearing-in of Frankfort’s new City Commissioner and Mayor Pro Tem, Katima Smith-Willis. Proud doesn’t even begin to describe it 👏💙

I'd like to hear a version of The Night Before Christmas played to the tune of Monster Mash.

Black Doves on Netflix is a very good spy show. Good story, good action, good characters, good twists. Ben Whishaw is awesome as always. Keira Knightley nails her character of course. Especially liked the for-hire team played by Kathryn Hunter, Ella Lily Hyland and Gabrielle Creevy.

I obviously quote reposted this from the writer Adam Schwarz. If anyone knows where it originated please let me know so I can credit the photographer.

This sounds so awesome. Smell is an important part of the memory of a situation, a setting, an atmosphere, a memory. Kudos and thank you for choosing this work.

Protecting victims of witch hunts is an appropriate use of the Presidential Pardon, family or no.

Clearly something a writer would say.

Yeah, I just say "like what you like".

Can't say anything, eh? I wonder what else he wants to say.

I find the lighting and tone to be just right. You can look at the tree, you can look around the tree. The eye is drawn where it needs to be.

Though you might not know what you're doing whatever you do will work. Doing it how you want is the best way. (Apologies if this was overstepping.)

I do not like funerals but I will say this for them. A few years ago we did one for one of my uncles. The errands involved, ordering flowers, making arrangements at the funeral home, getting instructions to all the attendees, provided a path forward and a sense of order to life.

Sometimes the elements in images like this blend together and become too busy. This one is just perfect. I am going to keep it open in a browser tab so I can admire it throughout the day.
