Haha! I played this in high school band my senior year with Mars, and had the same experience the other way. Watching that episode makes me cry so hard because of how much I enjoy The Planets but also how well it's integrated into the story of - also my daughter's favorite - episode.

I've been using it to control memory and leave breadcrumbs for itself in markdown and it's been great. I've wanted to push towards trying squads but even jumping to the 40 dollar copilot plan would not last long if I had more premium models using more requests in the background building.

I am a big believer in exactly this threads point. My question is how much premium request burning is required to achieve this. I mean it non inflammatorily, I'm curious. I've already burned through 40% of 10 dollar copilot subscription budget in 36 hours not using a squad just by one on one use.

Amidst all the progressive metal and harsh music I frequent, Songs About Jane remains in my top 10 albums. A coffee shop I worked at *coughing* over 20 *coughing* years ago only had Songs About Jane on repeat for months. Stockholm Syndrome, sure, but it's a front to back banger album.

I want to preface this with I agree I'm squishy on the ecological impacts, and as such got into the agentic coding game pretty late. But there is a noticeable difference in code generation after using levers available. Skills/instructions markdown files are very useful.

Similar moment this weekend figuring out a niche bug on windows with Dotnet aspire. It was able to use aspire CLI, triage that it was a Microsoft/dcp issue and ultimately found when manually kicking things off that when you set your container runtime to be not default, the second dcp call breaks.

I'm in a similar boat but I have learned to navigate debugging in vscode as well. I am very flustered that nuget doesn't have a nicer integration, but managing that can be a quick setup in vs then tick up versions manually in proj files. I was such an LLM skeptic until jumping on it in December.
