I do admit my relationship to art is a bit toxic, I do usually do it hoping for some sort of acknowledgement or recognition for my effort, but lately irl i just get “aren’t you tired of drawing sonic” and online people don’t really care anymore idk. Not improving as much as I feel I should either.

This is a really thought out and well-worded reply, thank you for the encouragement, it’s more Sonic art specifically at this point. I’m going to keep drawing but I’m feeling extremely dejected with Sonic art anymore. Not nearly as rewarding as it used to be, and only a select few get any kudos.

Yes, she always does. I’ve never once asked her for money but she has done really nice things for me in the past like helping w a deposit for an apartment. I just explained my car was gone again and how stressed out it had me and she just assumed I wanted money

I tried to appeal to empathy because I legit have no other choice, either that or I lose my car for good. I pay renters insurance and my car has already been stolen on this property, yet they refused to compensate for anything I lost then too. Actual human scum preying on underprivileged communities
