I tried to invoke elements of Jason Robert Brown and Sara Bareilles. Produced in Ableton, played on a Yamaha p85 with the Steinway pack by Eastwest. #musiciansky #originalmusictracksyoutu.be"I'll Be Waiting" - Original Piano ThemeYouTube video by Benjamin Folse 061

While it’s mostly inspired by Stardew Valley, there are elements of Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing as well! The possibilities for support specs and what they can do are endless. But instead they backed out and kneecapped the spec into nothing. Oh well. 160

Reposted by Johnny𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐞 @couxchie.bsky.social · 06/02/2025Week 5 of my composition challenge. This piece is so very special to me. JRPGs were my gateway into gaming and really set my expectation of what video game music should sound like. I tried to evoke elements of Uematsu, Soken, Masuda, and other icons throughout. Very happy with how it turned out!youtu.be"Carry the Torch" - Battle ThemeYouTube video by Benjamin Folse 073

Reposted by Johnny𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐞 @couxchie.bsky.social · 09/01/2025My goal for this year is to get better at composition so I’m attempting to write one piece a week. This is my first composition of the year: “Moonlit Castle.” I’m very happy with how it turned out and learned a lot about working in my DAW in the process. #ableton #videogamemusic #compositionon.soundcloud.comMoonlit CastleA whimsical fantasy instrumental based on this image of a Moonlit Castle in the snowy mountains. The style is influenced heavily by video game composers such as Nobuo Uematsu, Masayoshi Soken, Yoko Sh 021
