I particularly appreciated the extended assignment in Texas. I kept waiting for commercial breaks because we're so programmed for short segments but you really went IN as you said you would when you introduced the show today. The entire show was powerful but that really stuck out to me.

ICE is not above the law. I'm filing a brief with the courts to defend limits that prevent ICE from making warrantless arrests without probable cause. We've seen what happens when ICE goes unregulated: people and communities get put in danger. This is a time for increased accountability, not less.

I recount a story in my book "Lies About Black People" about a White couple that called their dog that and would walk by the Black person's house everyday with the dog calling out the name to the dog as a way to intimidate the Black family that was the only Black family in the neighborhood.
