Tokusatsu: A Guide to Kaiju, Sentai, and Japanese Special Effects from Their Origins to the Present Day (2025) A great read for anyone who wants to get into or learn about tokusatsu. It was really interesting to learn about non-big three toku, and I also like the focus on non-Japanese productions.

Forgotten Island (2026) As someone who immensely values the relationships I have with my friends and loved ones, as well as the memories I've made with them, this movie kinda put me through the wringer, ngl. The characters are great, the animation is amazing, and overall I'm glad I got to see this.

Kamen Rider Zeztz: Into the Dream (2026) A neat little side story to accompany the main show. The Labyrinth Nightmare is a good villain, and the setting of the nightmare itself was pretty interesting. Zeztz Visions is a neat form, and the final fight was awesome.

Throwback to when AI bros were saying they were digital artists because they both used technology to make art. So as a digital artist I found a rock, burnt some sticks, and made a busty dragoness out of nothing but shit I had in my backyard. Nothing will stop real artists from making real art.

A stone and some sticks from a mesquite tree

A mesquite tree stick sharpened to a point and burnt at the end

A halfway drawn busty dragoness made from ash on a rock

A shaded drawing on a rock made from ash of a busty dragoness on a rock. Suck my artistic dick AI bros

Captain America: Civil War (2015) A great conclusion to Steve's Captain America trilogy. T'Challa and Peter Parker are welcome additions to the MCU lineup, and their interactions with the other Avengers are great. The big fight at the airport was awesome, if not more than a little heartbreaking.

Ant-Man (2015) Pretty good superhero movie, definitely a step up from the last one. I really like how creative the fight scenes were, and both the Ant-Man and Yellowjacket suits look great. Scott is a good main character, and the scenes with his daughter were sweet.

Coyote vs. Acme (2026) So glad I went to see this, and so glad it was finally released. Avery and Wile E. are a great duo, and the former's speech about Wile E.'s perseverance made me smile from ear to ear. The comedy was great, and there was also stuff that got me to think, which I appreciate.

So the end of this month marks 10 years since I lost my uncle, ive slowly realised over the past few days just how much that has affected my mental health. Im more prone to anger and sadness, to crying, to my depression kicking in. While I know its normal to feel this way, I wish I didnt.

WHiH Newsfront Season 1 (2015) A fun little bit of promotion for the then-upcoming Ant Man movie. My favorite part was easily the interview with Scott Lang. Not much to say other than that.

Daredevil Season 1 (2015) As an introduction to the titular character, this was a damn good first season. The main trio of Matt, Foggy and Karen are great, and so are the supporting characters. The villains are also great, especially Fisk. The action was really good, and the finale was just *mwah!*

Ninjago: Legends - Duskfall (2026) A cool little series of shorts set in the future. The animation is absolutely stunning, and the voice acting is genuinely top notch. I really like how all of them fast forward to an even further point in the future as well.

Odd Taxi (2021) Peak. Absolute peak. The story is compelling, the characters and their dynamics are interesting, Odakawa in particular, and the animation is great. The plot twist in the final episode threw me for a loop, but it makes sense when you go back through the show and connect the dots.

WOE. KAMEN RIDER BE UPON YE #kamenridermyth

the "eminem throwing a rat at the viewer" meme, but it's Yuna from Kamen Rider My-th throwing Sora. He's in the My-th suit and is slightly motion blurred. Crucially, he has the same boxy shape as the rat from the original meme.
