My first 10k race today. Probably not the wisest decision choosing one with hills and trail but I did it and I got a decent time and a medal. I even think I enjoyed it. I definitely enjoy running downhill that’s for sure 🤣

#TeamRE last nights Freddie Flintoff ‘s field of Dreams had a wonderful section with a group of teenage cricketers supporting their Muslim teammate by fasting and visiting the Mosque with him in Calcutta. Powerful and moving.

What is the religious affiliation of most migrants? According to a recent @pewresearch.org report, the answer is Christians, making up 47% of all migrants in 2020. www.pewresearch.org/religion/202... For an interactive table of continental/country breakdowns: www.pewresearch.org/religion/202...
Chart showing Christians made up an estimated 47% of all people living outside their country of birth as of 2020. Muslims accounted for 29% of all living migrants, followed by Hindus (5%), Buddhists (4%) and Jews (1%).Table showing continental breakdown of religious affiliation of immigrants who have moved into each region and remain there. In most regions, Christians are the main migrants.

This is not the case in the Middle East/North Africa where Muslims are the main migrants and, to a lesser extent, migrants in Asia which has about 23% Christians, 34% Muslims, 14% Buddhists, and 10% Hindus.

#TeamRE I think there are two uses of ‘disciplinary literacy’, which may be conflated. although there are cross overs, are different. 1) literacy in RE - I.e. vocabulary in RE e.g. keywords like prayer, he we can use texts to help reading fluency, how language is used e.g story
