Pale Saints – The Comforts of Madness. A dream‑pop/shoegaze landmark from 1990 on 4AD. They were one of the first bands I saw live, sometime around Oct/Nov 1990, with Saint Etienne supporting. #PaleSaints #TheComfortsOfMadness #4AD #Shoegaze #DreamPop #Vinyl #NowSpinning #IndieClassics #Musicsky

Everything Is Alive by Slowdive. Hard to believe this album is already three years old. Listening now and it feels like a quiet modern classic - shoegaze softened into dream‑pop and ambient, creating a spacious and hypnotic weight. #Slowdive #Shoegaze #NowSpinning #MusicSky #VinylCommunity

So glad to have seen @stetiennedisco.bsky.social at Brighton Dome last night. They were on great form and barely a dry eye in the house by the final song. Bittersweet, as I first saw them in 1990 and have been a fan ever since; I hope it wasn’t the last time. Great support from Gwenno and Marcy too.

Funkadelic – Maggot Brain. This new 45rpm 2LP sounds incredible… except my Side B is pressed way off‑centre, with obvious wow. It’s going back, but of course it’s sold out everywhere, so I’ll likely have to wait for the next pressing🤞 #Funkadelic #MaggotBrain #NowSpinning #VinylCommunity #MusicSky
