if you ahve built something (either an app or a library!) with lustre i'd love if you could fill out one of the issue templates here: github.com/lustre-labs/... it'd be great to start building a collection to showcase ^.^

all im saying is only one entry there is 100% admired
a chart from the 2026 stack overflow developer survey. it shows how different web frameworks and technologies are rated by users on a "desired" to "admired" scale. lustre is the only option with a 100% admired rating.

While, I haven't been using Gleam that much lately, but I just want to mention how incredibly nice the Gleam discord server is. It's the most welcoming programming community I've ever interacted with, bar none. Absolutely wonderful.

Please be vocal about not using AI. We have to normalize it. No "I'm not going to say that because it should be assumed. I'm not going to give them this". We don't have time for that shit ideological shit right now. NOW is the time to capitalize on waning favorability. Ppl want human made

Exactly. RepoDB reads the response into a dynamic and casts it. I'd probably still cast by default and only fall back to a decoder when it fails. Or maybe try to figure out what went wrong with reflection 🤔 I just want better error messages and am missing Gleam 🤭

Becoming more and more tempted to implement something like Gleams dynamic/decoder for my C# SqlEmbedder shennanigans at work. RepoDB is just kinda meh in terms of error messages, since they seem to just cast to the type you hand them.

My sponsorships have steadily gone down for the last couple of months, if you have a couple of bucks to spare and want to help out that would mean a lot! There's no such thing as a sponsorship that's too small

Nothing you can't also achieve with normal codegen tools like @giacomocavalieri.me's [squirrel](squirrel.hexdocs.pm) does. But having it be *that* integrated is pretty neat

I'm thinking it could track mouse down (on an island) and then compare that against the position of the mouse up event 🤔

Very cool! A thought I had was that it'd be neat if indicating the direction the bridge should go made it connect that way. So you could just swipe down(right/left/up) from an Island to make it connect to the next island below, instead of having to line it up with the island exactly

A few things, first and foremost the simplicity. In syntax, keyword count and the philosophy of "only one way" to do any one thing. Also the pipe |> and `use` syntax is really nice
